Kaleidos Cactus Flower Cloud Lab Lip Clay ($12.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a bright, pinky-red with strong, cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had a smooth, mousse-like texture that was very lightweight, thin but not clingy, and easy to spread across my lips for full color payoff in a single layer. It softened some of my lip lines but did settle a touch into the deeper ones.

It took about 15 minutes for the formula to fully dry down and set, which could be hurried up by blotting once. It lasted nicely for six and a half hours, left a strong stain behind, and felt non-drying over time.

$12.00/0.08 oz. – $150.00 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to have a “cream-to-powder texture” that is “kiss-proof once set” with a “silky and weightless” feel on the lips. The brand didn’t specifically make any claims about pigmentation in their description, but the promotional swatches included at the point of purchase show fully opaque coverage across the board.

They have a very lightweight, mousse-like texture that was very lightweight, velvety, and smooth with good spreadability. The applicator held a good amount of product without being too generous, as I did not feel like I had to wipe off excess. They took a few minutes to dry down, and the dry down time varied a little between some shades. They were forgiving of most lip texture and weren’t too prone to emphasizing lip lines or settling into them.

Most shades had opaque color coverage in one layer of product. With deeper shades, two layers tended to be better for full, even coverage, despite the shades themselves being quite pigmented in a single layer, but they were more prone to spreading and diffusing unevenly. The shades tended to dry down within 15 minutes with some doing so within five minutes to a more transfer-resistant finish.

The formula wore between four and eight hours on me with deeper, reddish shades lasting longer and leaving subtle stains behind. They felt non-drying over time. I did not notice any scent or taste.

Kaleidos Agave Cloud Lab Lip Clay ($12.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a blackened teal with cool, blue undertones and a semi-matte finish. It took about 15 minutes for it to dry down to a more matte finish, but it did eventually become transfer-resistant. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer, which settled a bit into my deeper lip lines as it was drying down. To prevent this, I’d recommend using a fingertip to blend the product out after a few minutes from the initial application to soften and diffuse the product back out of the lip lines.

The texture was very lightweight, velvety and smooth, which made it easy to spread across my lips and along the edges without streaking. It stayed on well for six hours and felt neither drying nor hydrating on me.
