A UK woman tricked her lover into believing she was a man for two years — even while having sex, a UK court was told.
Blade Silvano, 40, tricked her unidentified partner as part of a “sophisticated” scam that also involved her lying about serving in the British Army and surviving cancer, according to SWNS.
Cambridge Crown Court was told she twice used an “unknown item” to penetrate the woman, who still referred to Silvano as “he” during testimony.
Silvano maintained the ruse by making her partner wear a blindfold in the bedroom while keeping on boxer shorts and a T-shirt, the court was told of the couple who’d even talked about getting wed.
“I was able to move my hands freely, the side, his back, [but] I was never able to put my hands underneath his clothes or down his boxers,” said the woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons.
“He would rebuff me every time I tried to make an advance, he would nudge me away.

“He was using sex toys on me; it was not allowed the other way around.”
The alleged victim told friends that her lover — who she knew as Blade Mendez — refused to let her touch him because he was “insecure,” the court was told.
“She said he never took his top off when they were together,” one witness told the court.
“She said she had not seen Blade’s penis as he would never have the light on when they had sex.”

Even so, the couple got so serious they discussed marriage, and the alleged victim even went shopping for wedding dresses.
Silvano canceled the engagement, blaming a fictitious cancer diagnosis, the court was told.
Her partner only discovered Silvano was actually a woman through Facebook nearly two years after they first got together on an online dating site, the court was told.

Silvano denies two counts of assault by penetration — claiming she only ever met her accuser online, never in person.
The trial is expected to last five days.
