Vieve Treasure Modern Matte Lipstick ($26.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a medium-dark peach with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque color payoff paired with a smooth, lightweight texture that was lightly creamy but not too slippery on my lips.
The product applied fairly evenly but settled a bit into my deeper lip lines, though it didn’t seem to worsen over the three and a half hours it lasted for. The formula felt lightly hydrating overall.

The lipstick is supposed to be “creamy, comfortable, and powerfully pigmented” while being hydrating over time. They were semi-opaque to opaque in color coverage, while the texture felt slightly firm, thin (but not clingy), and had more glide than I would have expected based on the initial feel of the bullet against my lips.
What was most surprising was that they applied evenly for the most part (and the range of hues runs lighter), and they were fairly forgiving of lip texture (but a few settled into my lip lines a bit), and did seem like a “modern matte” yet wasn’t heavy on the silicones in feel like a lot of current matte formulas are. The shades lasted between four and six hours on me and felt lightly hydrating over time.

Ninetease
Vieve Ninetease Modern Matte Lipstick ($26.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a darker, peachy beige with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had rich color coverage that adhered fairly evenly to my lips, but this shade was more prone to separating around and settling into my lip lines, which was something visible in person.
The texture was lightly creamy, firmer but not thick or dense, and was comfortable to apply and to wear. It lasted well for four hours and felt lightly moisturizing over time.
