If the interviewer asks you, “What are your greatest strengths?”, use my ARM structure!
A stands for ADAPTABLE. You embrace change, learn quickly and adjust positively to new tasks, priorities and challenges.

HOW TO INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN A JOB INTERVIEW!
The hardest part of any job interview is right at the start when the hiring manager says to you: INTRODUCE YOURSELF! It’s the hardest part because you will be the most nervous at the beginning, and it’s always difficult to know what to say in your introduction.
But fear not, I am here to help you.
In this video, I will give you 4 great tips for introducing yourself, give you a simple 4-step structure for what you need to say and then give you the perfect answer to write down.

4 POWERFUL TIPS FOR GIVING THE PERFECT JOB INTERVIEW INTRODUCTION 01:26
TIP 1 – Keep your interview introduction professional – do not talk about your family, relationship status, hobbies, or any personal issues.
TIP 2 – Keep your introduction to no longer than 60 seconds – that is all it needs to be. The interviewer wants a brief introduction before they ask you various questions to assess your suitability for the role.
TIP 3 – Make sure you practice your introduction several times before the interview. This is very important because the interviewer is assessing your communication skills – give a confident introduction and the rest of the interview will be a breeze!
TIP 4 – This is probably the best tip I can give you – talk about the following 4 things in your introduction:
SKILLS – Say that your skills match the job description and that you are a disciplined, responsive and accountable team player.
EXPERIENCE – Say that you have the experience to make a difference in the role – you have experience working on teams, problem-solving, and completing time-critical tasks.
ACHIEVEMENTS – Briefly talk about one or two achievements you have attained in your life so far. For example, winning Employee of the Month, achieving outstanding grades at college or helping your employer receive lots of 5-star reviews online.
TYPE OF PERSON YOU ARE – You can say that you are the type of person who always ensures your employer receives a great return from your salary.

This is so annoying and another reason why I hate interviews because anyone can say anything, it’s about how clever you are at playing mind games versus using actual discernment and human skill plus evaluating work ethic.
Interviews and jobs are all about how how fake you can be until you’ve been at the company for 5+ years. 🤦🏽♀️

When I was young student an applying for first side jobs I was very nervous and the interviewer noticed. I just openly telled that and they were 100% understanding, Event told me like they felt when they were young and it was a nice dive into a conversation.
So I feel there is no shame being nervous and communicating that. Of course you should not do that if you’re applying for CEO and want to run a company or similar 😂

In India people act like nervous too because they know to getaway with nonsense of control freaks minds. Especially some that get it right too. But to think they cannot be nervous is the truth. They are exposed to too many people they actually can't afford to be nervous atall. They can be aversive to bad people, they really can be aversive to disrespectful uneducated too sometimes..

The public speaking choice depends, I have said this in an interview and got this comment by the director: “but for this role then you won’t be a fit because you will have to lead the meetings, as a project coordinator you’ll talk to a lot of stakeholders.” 😢

I used to say to the recruiter that my biggest weakness is to have a perfectionist character. I always try so hard to give 100% effort and 100% expectation but if the expectation is under 99% or below that, then I feel defeated, overthinking, and shut myself down. These conditions hardly impact my later works but I got the position anyway. Then, in the office I learned that it is okay to make mistakes, we continuously get critics from our manager but from that we will learn and develop ourselves to be better and better.
