Eyewitness footage released on July 15 shows a massive cloud of black smoke rising over Iran’s Chabahar Port following a reported strike. A voice heard in the video says the explosion hit directly beneath a tower near the port. The footage was independently verified by Reuters using satellite imagery, terrain, and nearby structures. While the exact filming date could not be confirmed, no earlier versions of the video were found online before July 15. The reported strike comes as the United States launched a fresh wave of military operations targeting Iran’s coastal defense systems and cruise missile storage and launch sites. According to U.S. Central Command, the operation focused on strategic military infrastructure, including Greater Tunb Island, and followed earlier strikes near the Strait of Hormuz.
