The reason why you're not supposed to spray direct into the face is the risk of inhalation & entrance into the eye. The material, although safe for the intended use, would then fall under hazard classifications if used as a direct spray, I imagine.

This would be great for sharing. No matter how clean your brushes are you probably still get face germs in your powder if you share loose powder with lots of people

They probably figured out the bomb pump mechanism first and were like okaaaaay, how do we incorporate this in our makeup line….let’s put some powder in it and see how that works. Omg the powder just spews out, done. Product launched. 😂
I just don’t get the point of it, just because they came up with a great spray bottle didn’t mean they had to absolutely work it into their product line when really they didn’t even have the right kind of material to place in the bottle, I mean it could have been great to spray powder on your face but that’s not even what this does so…… crickets????

Shit, if they would add this pump technology to comet and other powder house cleaners… Now THAT would be innovative and useful. Spraying onto a brush seems pretty ridiculous to me when I would rather have a loose or solid powder in a sitting compact so I can dip the brush in it. I even prefer to wipe my brush on a damp wipe before packing shimmer on instead of spraying the setting spray onto them.

If that powder has talc in it, this delivery method shouldn’t be allowed. Even when talc is completely free of asbestos, it is still in the same family of minerals as asbestos is and can cause lung disease and cancer. No one should ever use that powder if it has talc or even silica powder. Silicosis can be lethal and we breath enough of this crap in daily so adding to our beauty routine and making it so easy to breath in is just wrong.

I think this is kinda funny in a behind the curve kinda way because bakers have been using spray bottles with the claw design for spraying out glitter dusting and powdery color stuff.

I hate loose powder b/c of the amount of product lost every time I open the container. This packing to some extent would help with that.
