ZOOM INTERVIEW TIP #1 01:07
At least one day before your Zoom interview is due to take place, download the Zoom software and install it on your computer, phone or laptop.

ZOOM INTERVIEW TIP #3 03:00
– Consider carefully the room you will hold the Zoom interview in.
– What’s the background like and what can the interviewer see?
– Make sure there is plenty of light in the room and the background is professional looking.

ZOOM INTERVIEW TIP #4 03:30
If you are having the Zoom interview on your phone, DO NOT hold it in your hand!

ZOOM INTERVIEW TIP #5 03:58
– Tell everyone in your household you are being interviewed!
– There should be no distractions during your interview, so make sure people are informed and turn off any electrical devices (such as your phone) that may go off in the room!
– Make sure your laptop, computer or phone is fully charged before the Zoom interview, or simply plug it into the electrical supply.

ZOOM INTERVIEW TIP #6 04:47
– Check your internet connection is strong and it won’t cut out!
– You should TURN OFF NOTIFICATIONS on your laptop or computer before the interview commences.

ZOOM INTERVIEW TIP #7 05:08
– Even though this is not an in-person interview, dress in a PROFESSIONAL manner.
– How you dress says a lot about your intentions and standards.

ZOOM INTERVIEW TIP #8 05:32
– Look into the camera while speaking!
– If you look at the interviewer instead of looking at the camera on your computer or laptop, it will demonstrate poor interview technique.

ZOOM INTERVIEW TIP #9 06:13
– Remember to SMILE during your interview.
– Because it’s an online ZOOM interview, you must work harder to demonstrate positivity and good body language.

ZOOM INTERVIEW TIP #10 06:55
Have 3 smart questions ready to ask at the end of your Zoom interview!
QUESTION #1 – What advice would you give to the successful candidate who wants to do a good job in the role?

QUESTION #2 – What’s the culture like within the company?

QUESTION #3 – Has anything frustrated you about people who have held this or similar positions in the past?

ZOOM INTERVIEW TIP #11 07:53
There is a set of interview questions commonly asked by Hiring Managers during Zoom interviews. Prepare answers to all of them!
