A rare albino buffalo in Bangladesh, nicknamed “Donald Trump” because of its unusual blond tuft, has been dramatically saved from Eid sacrifice after a last-minute government intervention. The nearly 700-kg buffalo became an internet sensation as crowds, vloggers and curious visitors gathered to see the rare animal. Authorities stepped in over security concerns and moved the buffalo to the national zoo in Dhaka after refunding the buyer who had purchased it for ritual slaughter ahead of Eid al-Adha.

A devastating fire at a coaching centre in Lucknow has claimed 15 lives and left several others injured.
