Great show as always! 👍😙💖 That beautiful green/teal eyeshadow looks exactly like the lid on Tarte's LE primer. I totally agree with Hailey's theory on why L'oreal's palettes aren't very pigmented, and I also think this applies to many luxury brands.

I think drug store brands can’t release pigmented eyeshadows (like a matte pigmented red or pink or blue) for the very simple reason that pigment is the most expensive ingredient in an eyeshadow and with the low price point (including marketing packaging distribution etc) you simply can’t afford a good formulation that will give you good color payoff. Especially a brand like L’Oreal who is more busy designing a new package every 4 months than actually investing in the product… that’s my impression of them anyway. This is why most drug store eyeshadows end up looking like a mix of shimmery golden brown after one hour of wear time. :))))
