In Today’s video we discuss a very important topic which is 3d printing slicers. A slicer takes a 3d model and converts it into gcode which is the set of instructions needed for your 3d printer. There are quite a few options available and what may be best for one might not be the best for another person. I run through the 4 main ones that I cycle through to give a bit of a summary on each and some of my favorite highlights.

✅ TIP 1 – Research the company. Learn about its products, services, values and recent achievements. Be ready to explain why you want to work there.

✅ TIP 2 – Prepare your introduction. Practise a confident 60-second answer to the question, “Tell me about yourself.”

✅ TIP 3 – Study the job description. Identify the skills and qualities required for the role and prepare examples that prove you have them.

✅ TIP 4 – Prepare for common interview questions. These include “Why do you want this job?”, “What are your strengths?”, “What is your biggest weakness?” and “Why should we hire you?”

✅ TIP 5 – Use the STAR method. When answering behavioural interview questions, structure your examples using Situation, Task, Action and Result.

✅ TIP 6 – Show enthusiasm. Employers want to hire people who genuinely want the job. Be positive, energetic and enthusiastic throughout your interview.

✅ TIP 7 – Ask a smart question at the end. For example: “What advice would you give to the successful candidate who wants to excel in this role?”
