While at Winter NAMM 2019, Akai agreed to a “no question off the table” interview about their new Force standalone clip launcher/groovebox/sampler.

Alongside this interview I compare Force’s features to Ableton Push (and occasionally Maschine MK3).

Here’s a link to the video I made comparing Push 2 to Maschine MK3: https://youtu.be/8I_TnRZcHpg

The comparison is between Force and what Push 2 can do as a controller, not the entirety of Ableton Live as a DAW, which is of course substantially more comprehensive.

Indian scientists have developed RK-251, a promising “smart” cancer drug designed to activate mainly inside cancer cells while limiting damage to healthy tissue. Developed by researchers from IASST and IIT-Guwahati, the drug showed strong activity against aggressive triple-negative breast cancer cells in preclinical studies. The breakthrough could offer a more targeted alternative to conventional chemotherapy, but human clinical trials are still needed before its safety and effectiveness can be established.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has launched a sharp attack on veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah over a viral video in which the actor declared himself a “Dimagi Naxal” and voiced support for protesting students at Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi. Shah criticised the Centre’s handling of student protests and accused the government of undermining education and the courage of young people. Reacting to the video, Rijiju described Shah’s views as harmful to Indian democracy. The exchange has sparked a fresh political controversy over student protests, dissent and the government’s critics

Iran is facing its most explosive internal nuclear debate in years. Following the killing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who had banned nuclear weapons, hardline politicians, MPs and analysts are urging Tehran to withdraw from the Non Proliferation Treaty and build atomic bombs. However, Iran’s government maintains that it is not seeking nuclear weapons. The debate unfolds as President Trump, whose approval has fallen before the US midterms, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu both face domestic political pressure and warnings of possible renewed strikes on Iran.
