Hello and welcome back to The Lowdown where today Dougie Critchley, Michael McCubbin and Joe Thomlinson discuss the players proving you WRONG this season.

Hear our thoughts on how Mason Mount has turned it around for Ruben Amorim’s Man United and why Matthjis De Ligt deserves more respect from the wider public. How Gabriel Martinelli has bounced back from an underwhelming few seasons to get back to close to his best with Arsenal. Whether Reece James has got back to his world class best with Chelsea, along with shouts for Brentford’s Jordan Henderson, Igor Thiago and Michael Kayode.

Not only that but we heap praise on Newcastle’s Nick Woltemade, discuss whether Brighton’s Danny Welbeck is once again in England contention and commend the early season performances of Martin Dubravka, Marcos Senesi, Dan Ballard and Wilson Isidor.
