I think companies deliberately release palettes that have intentionally imperfect color stories that are ALWAYS missing that one matte crease shade that you need simply to get us to buy more shit we don’t need in the quest for The One…..

The commentary on the Glam palette cracks me up because it seems like you guys are complaining that you bought the bronze palette when you wanted the Glam palette. No one made you buy that palette. I think it is a perfect example of why we should not buy things ASAP and slow down a bit with our shopping to see if something comes out we like more.

I'm not sure if someone has already posted this, but I did some research on Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez. It looks like Real Beauty, LLC is a Delaware corporation. I checked the California Secretary of State business entity search and the company was originally called Cosmetic Ventures, LLC and later changed to Rare Beauty, LLC this year. The current CEO is listed as Scott Friedman. I wasn't sure that this was the same company as Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez until I checked Scott Friedman's LinkedIn profile. The font in the Rare Beauty logo in his profile matches the packaging. In addition, the website listed under the Rare Beauty LinkedIn profile is to the Selena Gomez line. Interestingly, the brand website didn't populate in a Google search for "Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez" nor did the LinkedIn profile. That may be because the brand has received a ton of press and reviews. I love the brand's positive message and have seen good reviews on YouTube. I was just curious because you mentioned you couldn't find much online, and I thought I would share what I found.

That fair Sol Body bronzer is about 57 shades darker than my skin…
I like the idea of it in theory… like putting it on my legs for an event in summertime. But I also don't trust it enough to try that.
