Why did Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu make a secret trip to the UAE? Netanyahu reportedly met UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi on September 27. The meeting comes amid reports that the Emirati leader had warned Netanyahu before the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack—a claim Netanyahu has denied. Reports also say the Iran war and regional security featured in the discussions.
