Japan Earthquake: Surveillance Footage Shows Trucks and Vehicles Shaking During Japan Quake | WION
A powerful 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck Japan’s Kumamoto Prefecture, injuring more than 50 people and forcing over 150,000 residents to evacuate. The quake triggered power outages affecting 40,000 homes, disrupted train and flight services, damaged roads and bridges, and caused a freight train to derail. A tsunami warning was briefly issued before being lifted.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday (April 29) Iran talks are being conducted by phone after he canceled a trip over the weekend for U.S. negotiators to travel to Pakistan to speak with Tehran officials.
Trump said Iran retained only “a small percentage” of its missile-production facilities after U.S. strikes, and warned Tehran would have to abandon any nuclear weapons ambitions to secure a deal. “That’s all they have to do. Just say we give up,” Trump added.
The war has cost the U.S. $25 billion so far, a senior Pentagon official said on Wednesday, providing the first official estimate of the military’s price tag for the conflict.
