I said it before, LFC has been inconsistent in games this season when they can't afford to be. I honestly didn't expect a LFC win this time

As long as Bruno Fernandes stays on the sideline we will keep on getting clean sheets.

Gary, if they had a better team they would've done what they've done last year..going for Liverpool and they would've got at least 2.3 goals….common..surely you must see that the reason Liverpool were as they were was because of how utd played…..parked the bus and they're private cars

Arsenal haven't beaten us at Anfield in the league since September 2012. They are not much better than Liverpool at the minute.

You are playing in the best league in the globe

To me it feels like as if Gary is trying to urge the Liverpool fans to be on it for Arsenal..

I think spurs are the best team in the league

It's understandable that Liverpool were complacent, if indeed they were. The 7-0 aside, the previous season Liverpool beat them 5-0 at old Trafford and stuck four past them at anfield. Recent results against this incredibly gutless iteration of united have told Liverpool fans to take it for granted. This showing from United shows, at least, that they have some fight

I honestly don't mind playing like this every single time we play Liverpool, even if we somehow get better, low block and counter attacking is the best against them. If we try to attack too much they attack way better than us

Shocking result…. But still not as shocking as the Gary Neville podcast continually being able to get Gary Neville as a guest .

Strange how great players were rubbish managers but rubbish players seem to do ok as pundits. Then you get an anomaly like Shearer who's great at both

    February 6, 2024 at 8:57 pm

As a Liverpool fan I thought it was a bloody awful match! Neither team had a clue going forward! One of the most boring games ive ever seen

  22. @stuart_edward

    February 6, 2024 at 8:57 pm

Just a little lesson in facts to Gary, since he's talking utter nonsense about Arsenal being a better team than Liverpool.

Since the 2-2 draw between the sides on the 9th April that essentially lost arsenal the league title, they've accrued 51 points from then till now.

Since that same game, Liverpool have accrued 65 points.

I'd love for Gary to explain how that makes arsenal the better side.

As an Arsenal fan, it's good to see Gary on this podcast. Should be a regular.

He can't resist trying to banter Liverpool fans to fire them up to create a more intimidating atmosphere against Arsenal. lol

Lfc fans were not arrogant its just this fixture against Man utd is not exciting anymore.

  29. @kyle2999

    February 6, 2024 at 8:57 pm

I seriously cannot believe how he is viewing the Liverpool game. With everything put into context we lost 7-0 there last season, we just got knocked out of Europe and we’re on a poor run of form, and look at the amount of unavailable first team players we had. Ten hag had to play like that and we actually had several very good chances in that game. Yeah it wasn’t treble winning united but this Liverpool team at home are always gonna dominate no matter the opposition

  30. @zain_d72

    February 6, 2024 at 8:57 pm

City do this every season and end up winning the league

  31. @robwor8320

    February 6, 2024 at 8:57 pm

It is funny that utd fans mention that they earned a point despite the injury list. Lets not forget that it was a fully stacked utd team that got dragged in the mud here last season. It was the correct line up and any different would not have worked. If Mcguire was not injured, Varane (player of the match fyi) would not have played. If Bruno played, then Mainoo/Amrabat will be out. Outside of Casamiro, I can't think of any other Utd player who could have played and got the same outcome.

    February 6, 2024 at 8:57 pm

The fans anticipated Liverpool defeating United 5-0. However, when Liverpool didn't score early, the fans felt underwhelmed and, as a result, became quiet.

Arsenal will go to play. Not to defend

    February 6, 2024 at 8:57 pm

There's nothing wrong with city dropping points is normal and they are missing de bruyne same as utd back in the day missing beckham keane or scholes all season there points tally would probably drop too. Also city lost 3-4 top players last season as well. liverpool Arsenal villa are going to drop points

  40. @derekashenden9789

    February 6, 2024 at 8:57 pm

Man U management might have a found a way to grind out results without just going for the big win. At present Man U have not got the players to beat the top teams but grinding out a result is way to go.

Are there good atmospheres in the premier league ?

  42. @Homo5apien

    February 6, 2024 at 8:57 pm

Neville talking about the atmosphere, think hes a tiny bit jealous of the new stand 🤣🤣

  43. @MichaelBoogerd

    February 6, 2024 at 8:57 pm

09:00 Arsenal, City, i never believed in Liverpool… blabla… c'mon Aston Villa are IN the race! Over last 12 months, only City have more points in the calendar year, so this is not some unique form since August – this is a consistent improvement, that just as much as they could probably tail off in the run in, they could just as easily keep the run going.
