And the ones pushing the ridiculous everyone gets a trophy stuff, is the one who probably wasn't on the winning team or didn't participate at all . This sends the false narrative that you'll be rewarded for failing or losing , and when they go out into society they're programed to think who cares if I apply myself or try to do better I'm going to get the reward just like the ones who are working harder and putting in the effort. They're promoting self entitlement

Losing makes you stronger. I can attest to that.
In my first year in college, studying mechanical engineering, I flunked all but one of my exams. I could have walked away.
Instead, I decided to go through the first year again. This time, I passed the very minimum of required exams, low score perhaps, but I passed enough exams to proceed to the second year. At the end of my third semester, not only did I pass all my exams, my grades also went up.
When you lose, you have two choices:
Give up and walk away
or
You have the right to feel down the day you find out you've failed, but tomorrow you'll start looking at where you failed and how to do better next time.
