Put some respect on Carragher, the man left Liverpool in 2013 making over 500 appearances.

Ha! When Jamie says Liverpool won't just give a job to someone because they had a great playing career.

Half way through the season, they’ve only played 11 games. They’ve Still got 27 to go. So they should stay up.

Looking at the history….he's got a good chance of being a future England manager…..a few villa players have become England captains and a few villa managers have become England managers….including our current head coach…he did both!!

This is SO disrespectful to a massive club like Rangers which has far greater worldwide support than the joke Villa have been for years

It's okay to speak of Rangers as a stepping stone to the EPL and Villa…. but disrespectful to talk about Villa as a stepping stone towards Liverpool. Sure…. that makes sense Jamie.

When Klopp finish's at Liverpool whatever club Stevie is at, he will drop everything and be Liverpool manager 100%. This is Stevie's dream for the future, and nothing will stop that ever happening.

I get information from Villa and it’s not gossip and hearsay. Whatever I’m told always comes to fruition. We had a provisional agreement with Inter Milan for a £5M transfer deal for Bergkamp. He was impressed by the facilities and the club’s vision. The deal was almost complete but it fell through at the last minute, due to his wife insisting that they move to London. Bruce Rioch still gets the credit for bringing him to the Premiership, and the neutral supporters can enjoy, who in my opinion was one of the all time greatest foreign players ever to grace the game.

Clubs in the North East of the country have a similar problem with attracting players as those in the Midlands. The only option is to pay over the odds. Hopefully, a name such as Gerrard is going to assist with the transfer of new players.

    Good luck, Stevie G.

    Up the Villa!

why does it say Jamie Carragher Liverpool 1996-2003? at the start of the video? So when I watch the 2005 Champions league final, it's just my imagination that Carragher was there right? You could be forgiven if you weren't Sky sports, your editors should be better than this, it should say 2013 🙂

lol yep its a no brainer to join a club that just sold its best players lost its last 5 games and is heading for a difficult relegation battle, big risk for Gerrard if he does not save them he could find himself on sky being a pundit after half a season.

I’m not too upset tbh. We’re looking pretty dodgy at the back so far this season and he has no real plan B. Thankful for his service but he was starting to struggle. Good luck at Villa. 6 managers in 6 yrs so don’t expect any longer than this season! In GVB we trust 🇬🇧👊
