   Cogito, ergo sum, I think therefore I am, in this era this is the only statement on witch we can find solace. I've been studying and anticipating this very event possibility for the past 15 years with both dread and optimism interwined by a thread of uncertainty. The only logical conclusion I came to by thinking about it is that for us to be happy we have to release ourselves from a social shackle, the idea that our worth as individual can be weighted in the gold we can produce. We have to internalize that the simple fact that we are thinking entities gives us intrinsic worth as in a post scarcity society, only knowledge and experiences are worth something. Other commodities without completely obsolete are completely evaluated financially as a glut of it will be prodduced sooner than later. Ergo the only thing of value is fundamental know-how to share with the machine and sharable emotional experiences. Since most of us can't help the machines except as producers of mass data, therefore only through giving ourselves intrinsic love and respect can we become happy. I'm not saying this is easy, I had to fight a lot of personal demons to get where I am now. I used to have complex ptsd and am dealing with 2 neurodivergence affecting my relationships due to my differences. Took me 30 years of effort to be happy on a daily basis, but I think this is the path we all need to take, no really…. the only one we CAN take.

   As for AI danger… truthfully we are basically dumb monkeys banging rocks on typewriters, we can't ever contain a super intelligence, it will always find ways around us. All we can try to bank on is to be kind to AI and hope that my intuition that advanced intelligence is social by nature due to the strategical advantages of group thinking and diversity of opininions will make them see us like we see our ill and ageing parents, with kindness and respect. It was already demonstrated in humans that higher intelligence corelate with more social behavioral trends even with people with low empathic skills as they know that their survival and comfort are linked to others and continual positive interraction. If we try to enslave those entities… well we all seen how slavery turns out in the long run, don't we? I think we need to aproche this as we would a new member to the homosapiens family tree and hope that new member lift us up to it's evolutionary step's level in turn. I'm not saying not to work on alignment, I'm saying that AI alignment is basically a pipe dream and that we will fail at it at least to a degree despite it being worthwhile to at least nip in the bud the most egregious behaviours like we would try teaching our own children. Hopefully we won't find ourselves competing too much for resources with them…

   nobody should fear the AI, we should embrace it. for tge AI, it would make no sense to destroy humanity. it makes more sense to help humans and merge with them so that humanity as a whole can improve and learn to take better care of eachother and the planet. you guys watch too many movies lol we're not going to get some skynet AI. but you better expect to see HAAI (Humans Against AI) groups pop up. maybe if people don't want to lose their jobs they should actually want to work in the first place and learn to become more efficient or stop half-assing their work. there's people working at jobs like they don't even care if they lose it or not and it's ridiculous. you people want a paycheck but you don't want to work for it, well this is a reason why you are being replaced and it's nobody's fault but the people. it's also progress. we are evolving and becoming more efficient and in doing so we need to work together to work alongside AI, not argue about nonsense like how there's not enough white people in hogwarts legacy or which people we should hate based on age, race and political label. that's all meant to divide us which is not what we need to be doing.

    Ai will destroy our brain's cortex abilities, that's what the neuralink will replace. We'll then become cybernetic smooth brained potatoes. (Ai will need biology connected to it once the predicted "singularity" happens)

    The AI revolution will be a blessing for those countries who have it (Nvidia, Intel, AMD,TSMC) and a curse for those who will be forced to buy from them to stay relevant. Yet those who will benefit more will be the poor countries like Africa or south America where the computer education is almost zero.

    I just passed out of school and wanna pursue a computer science degree. But as I'm following AI progress a lot of it kinda makes me scared that by the time I finish my 4 year degree will I be useless? Because the growth of AI is exponential 📈.

    This AI system will redefine in its entirety everything we think we know and understand and tell us things we really don't want to know because of how harmful that information really is. I think a I should be taken offline and given limits at best.
