   i definitely think the Maybelline fit me in a pouch is a good move for the environment even in terms of transport glass bottles are so much heavier then pouches and logistically can pack more in one truck so the carbon footprint wil be much better… plus squeezing the last drop is good for to consumer too

   Warming: Rant ahead in response to Haus delaying a release.

   It’s just virtue signaling. You’re right; we’re already in “it”. There’s nothing wrong, and really no point, in delaying the release. Unless you’re shutting down your entire facility. Like, how does withholding an already produced lipgloss going to help or “focus” on front line workers? They don’t want people thinking that they as a company have their thoughts on, heaven forbid, their profitable, job creating company and its products. They want us to only see them, and other companies like them that virtue signal, as having all their attention on thinking about the issue at hand ONLY. As if doing what a company is supposed to do (be profitable and employ people) is a moral sin. Why do these companies suddenly think they’re FEMA? You can sell your product and keep doing your thing and still help out the cause if you so choose. But you can’t do that without MONEY FROM SALES! If companies don’t continue to do that and continue to employ people then we have no economy and no money. Look what happened with the lockdowns. Millions unemployed. I’ve seen so many people comment in various forums condemning the fact that companies sell things. That is their job and source of income for more than just the CEO. Would those same people appreciate their jobs and incomes suddenly disappearing? The outrage at companies selling shit, people buying shit, and CEOs making money, along with their many many employees might I add, baffles me. Companies like Haus sense that and so make themselves out to be like some sort of human rights group that sends out nice thoughts and feelings and that selling stuff comes second. It’s so disingenuous. They have nothing to apologize for or feel bad about launching a wanted item and selling it. Any item sold represents employees behind it earning an income. And people against capitalism should realize that almost any job sells something. Try to think of a job that DOESNT sell something. Even if it’s not a physical product, it’s a service. But companies that sell products that aren’t “essential”, like makeup, get torched on the internet for daring to continue to sell despite the fact that 1) them not selling doesn’t DO anything unless your entire operation shuts down for safety and even then that’s not sustainable because people need income and 2) them continuing to sell keeps the economy turning, people’s incomes rolling in, and those incomes keeping people fed, sheltered and clothed.
   FFS it’s a big machine churning round and round and it’s NECESSARY to LIVE!!! This groveling bullshit from companies is a response to morons who wag their finger with naive statements like “how dare you sell lipgloss during “a time like this? You’re so selfish all you care about is money!” Of course they do. EVERYONE does. We have to care about it because without it you’re dead. Be safe, and all that crap. But stop the PC nonsense and launch the damn products!!

   In other words, I totally agree with you girls’ thoughts on that launch delay. Thanks for the vent. 😬

   I won't buy the new Maybelline fit me foundation pouches because I love packaging and this packaging doesn't excite me at all but also how can you say it's the same price when obviously plastic pouches are going to cost less for them to use than glass bottles? I use a tinted sunscreen foundation it's in a squeezy tube but it's fancier than this and I..no. this is a no for me

    Those maybelline pouches make my stomach turn…Also, I have a 2.5 year old who would find a way to get his hands on it. I thought my makeup was out of reach for him until he hid an expensive Hakuhodo brush. So if children are around I don't think this pouch idea is a good idea.
