   UPDATE: A few of you have been asking how the shadows have dried down since the filming of this video. I can confirm that they have dried more but they are still very oily and chunky and the sealed over pan is completely unusable. Even though I appreciate that Moon Mousse is trying to make repressing makeup easier and add in ingredients that will reverse the drying effect of alcohol, I am still sticking to isopropyl alcohol because it is affordable, easily accessible to the whole world, and even though it can dry out a product slightly in the process, it does evaporate and keeps the original formula almost completely in tact. I hope you enjoyed this little experiment as much as we did. PS the palette we used was a broken Morphe 35F palette 🙂

   Witch Hazel's scent always reminds me of the chewing gum balls you used to get from street dispensers for 1DM in Germany decades ago. They had a unique smell and taste that we described as 'frankfurter flavour'. God I miss them! 😂 🖤

   my moon mousse directions are different than yours. mine say to press the powder before using the mousse, and then just covering the surface with the mousse. Worked fine for me.

    You guys are too rough and careless when adding the moon moose. When working with something new the normal reaction is to be careful and add it little by little to see what happens when it dries instead of rushing and adding a lot at once. It’s like taking a sip of a new drink before drinking a mouthful. Maybe you guys have little patience and like to do stuff fast but using few pumps of moon moose continuously comes off as you guys not caring. This could have been a great experiment showing what is wrong with moon moose fair and square but now it feels a lot more biased.

    I will just stick to plain old alcohol. That was too messy and it looked difficult to have the bottle tilted to apply the mousse to the pan. It's a hard pass for me.

    Isopropyl alcohol is sold in a pretty decent size bottle for 1$ at most dollar stores! Definitely not for 30$ that's absolutely absurd!

    Cool product but why would anyone use this when they could use just pure alcohol that works great and doesn't add any extra shit like oil that might change the formula of the shadow..🤷🏾‍♀️ plus alcohol is 1 dollar at the dollar store lol

    Since the moon mousse has oil in it, I'd really like to see if it would repress the supreme frost from jeffree star. That would be a good use for it. Your way is definitely simpler, I'm just hoping to find a use for it and I'd really love to see how it works on the supreme frost.

    I purchased the Moon Moose after Tati's video and I followed her directions – not actually receiving any in my bag. I actually used it to repress one of my favorite highlighters that had broken (Becca champagne pop). As it was almost already powdery itself I only had to finish doing the job. Next I patted the highlighter into the pan and then put the moose on it. After leaving it on my bathroom shelf all night I gave it one more pat in the morning and now my highlighter is back to new.I've been really happy with the product.

    I just gave Moon Mousse a fair try (watched multiple demo videos from their account first) and I gotta say I'm not impressed either. My highlighter didn't get oily or chunky, but when I went to press this morning it wasn't a cohesive press. It kinda flaked apart, leaving it in a semi-pressed fragile state if that makes sense. I immediately returned to the alcohol method and less than 5 minutes later, my highlighter is good as new! I don't mind a little more effort if it works great, but for a subpar result, I don't see the point. 🤷‍♀️

    I used rubbing alcohol and if I remember correctly it takes 10-20 minuets to dry.

    The reason it was sticking was because it was too wet it said DRY and sticky read the information it provides 🙄

    For everyone in the comments saying they are going to stick to alcohol just because the moon mouse didn’t work for these 2 should really try it for them self because I used it for my morphs 35 b and it was amazing and worked exactly the same after if you see they don’t really follow the directions right maybe they didn’t understand what they needed to do

    Ok so tbh when I watched my first video I was like “this is cool but idk if it’s my thing” Iv now watched like 10 over a few weeks and you have won me over lol I honestly just like you lady’s I’m not a huge spender on makeup (not by choice just can’t afford to spend money on a lot of makeup) but I’m addicted and have now subscribed lol

    You're complaining about the pigment staining your fingers? You said it was wet, you knew that you should've let it dry. Pigments can stain when they're wet. Alcohol will allow pigments to stain if you don't let it dry.
    It's literally the worst thing on YouTube, when someone does something wrong or sets out to have a terrible experience with something and then complains about how bad it was when they clearly wanted that.

    Most powders have no scent. The formula isn't altered because even with scent, the performance wouldn't change. A change in the formula would affect the performance.

    They give you the 4 sizes. Do you know how ridiculous it would be for them to have a tool for every single size? There's 100's of different sizes and shapes for makeup. You can do what you do with your alcohol and make it work rather than complain about the size not being perfect for the pans you chose.

    Decyl glucoside is natural, it's used in a lot of things especially when it foams or has a mousse texture. It's from coconuts and corn.
