Hey guys, this is our haul from our first trip to a Miniso store, that also happened to be the grand opening of the Harbour Town Docklands Miniso store which has been opened by a fellow Melbourne beauty YouTuber Melissa Gold. Some people have pointed out that the store is actually owned by a Chinese company and is not Japanese. Regardless of the store origin, the store is super cute, we enjoy the products we bought, and wish Melissa the best of luck x

I've been working at this Miniso in Docklands for 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it!! 😁 I was there too as a customer on the Grand Opening day, and funny enough I'M IN THIS VIDEO! 😂😂 great vlog and haul video!!

Please search Miniso's wikipedia. It is a 【CHINESE】 retailer mimicking the real Japanese one called Daiso. No matter you continue to support it or not, please do not call it a Japanese store.

I love miniso, their stationary is nice and their cutlery too. There’s a few stores in Sydney but the one I go to is right under muji and kinokunya in Sydney CBD so if ur in syd one time visit them all in one go!

Miniso tries to pose as a Japanese brand although the company is founded n based in Guangzhou, China by a Chinese businessman (though he did register the company in Japan 6 months later). Almost everything you find in miniso is made in China and it was accused of stealing designs and images from designers and other stores (including ikea and uniqlo ). I have seen makeup brushes look 99% similar to real techniques brushes except a few words on packaging. Most of the stuff sold in miniso is made in China and you can find the exact same products from Taobao (or its original brands). Majority of goods from Daiso also are made in China but you can always find some products made in Japan/ Korea/Taiwan.
If you don’t care about the pirate part, miniso actually has a nice range of products and they are not bad quality. It’s like an upgraded 2 dollar store with better structure. I wouldn’t get any makeup or skincare from it though 🙈🙅🏻♀️ The business is also doing pretty outside of China except Japan :p it simply cannot compete with can do, 3 coins, daiso or other local 100-300yen stores because they do much better products.

Seriously? Miniso? This brand is known for copying other designers design and didn't even bother to credit them, that's how they make everything so cheap because they don't have any cost in designing and everything is made in China. This brand show no ethics regarding copy rights, they can't even think of their own name that they had to steal other's name and icon design. Can't believe that you girls are purchasing from this shitty company I'm so disappointed. This channal used to be better…

This has nothing to do with the video but miniso in Japanese would be written ミニソ but its written on the store メイソウ or meiso. Im a bit confused lol
