Nepal Launches Probe Into Ex-Home Minister Sudan Gurung Over Financial Irregularities | WION

A passenger train in Ukraine’s Odesa region was hit by a Russian drone, killing the locomotive driver and his assistant. The train was carrying around 340 people. A powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Indonesia’s Flores Island early Saturday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The epicentre was located off the island’s north coast, around 68 kilometres northwest of Ende, at a shallow depth of 10 kilometres.

Central African Republic Gold Mine Landslide Kills At Least 100, Rescue Operations Underway
A major mining tragedy has struck the Central African Republic, where a landslide at the Zamboy gold mining site has killed at least 100 people.
The mining site is located around 50 kilometres from the town of Bambari, where hundreds of artisanal miners reportedly work. A section of the open-pit mining area collapsed, burying people in its path.
Survivors have been taken to hospitals, while search and recovery operations continue. Authorities say the exact number of people inside the mine when the accident occurred remains unknown.
The local public prosecutor said the landslide may have been triggered by the collapse of several underground tunnels where miners were operating. A judicial inquiry has been opened into the disaster.
Small-scale and informal mining remains widespread in parts of Africa, despite regulations and safety concerns. Unemployment and the search for livelihoods continue to push workers toward abandoned or unsafe mining sites.

Blessed are those who mourn – see the error of the ways of the world and mourn over your spiritual deadness, cry out to Jesus. Blessed are the humble – confessing Jesus as LORD means no longer being a slave to sin but a slave to Christ Jesus, Lord, God and Savior. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for you will be filled with mercy, show mercy to others as God has shown you; pure in heart and a peacemaker. Our Lord Jesus, sits at the right hand of the Father. He no longer walks on the earth, so it is our job, now, to spread the gospel and make peace – that is to say end transgression of other sinners with God by spreading the Word that was given to Jesus and sanctified to the apostles (John 17) through Him that He had sent (Bible). Blessed are those who are persecuted (doesn’t always mean death)… a small price to pay if you truly get to know and understand the Lord and why we’re here. That’s why we’re called to be the salt and light of the world. The salt preserves the meat as we need to preserve those perishing in their flesh (spiritually dead in sin) while the light is meant to be in a lampstand – so shine bright by walking righteous and humble, and being obedient to the Lord our God and brighten those around you by spreading the news of Jesus Christ.
