TBH lush already does all that recycled packaging and things like that but it takes time and energy to make all that packaging. However I agree they should have reusable ways to store their naked products so they don't dissolve or get dirty.

23:09 unless this lush thing contains lots of ingredients derived from coconut (i'm a bit allergic to that), i'm so switching to this one. i for one kind of want to abstain from all cosmetics till companies get their packaging right. (still far from actually doing it, but i'm here for all the powders in glass jars etc.) there is just way too much plastic going on, also way more throwaway paper than needed. i have lots of containers that i really like (some cute metal stuff that were originally used for cookies or mints or whatever) that can be cleaned properly, and i can just repurpose those as my own custom foundation holder.

I was about to ask if you were both wearing the JD glow liners and then I read the description!! They look so cool!!! I bought mine at pre-release aaaaaaaaaaand I'm pretty sure they're lost in transit because they're certainly not on my eyes >__>

I totally disagree with the Bobbi Brown brand chasing trends. Bobbi (who of course left the company 2 years ago) was all about minimalism and classics. Watching them try to become relevant on social media is like watching a mom trying to hang out with teenagers, not realizing she will never be cool to them. I have heard them called an "old lady brand" on social media, and they should embrace that brand identity. (I'm about to turn 50, so I guess I'm an old lady myself now…) In the last few months they've gone on a discontinuing spree and have alienated their loyal customers. Their reviews sections on the last-chance-discounted products are FILLED with angry missives. I notice they are also discontinuing products they released just a year ago, because they were TERRIBLE. In some cases they replaced a good product with a new, terrible one — and are now discontinuing that one. They are actually discontinuing a cult fave sunscreen — but have not brought out the replacement yet?!?! What are they thinking??? They even did something I thought would never happen: they discontinued the Creamy Concealer in a single pot. (They now charge $10 more for a duo with a powder that everyone hates, and of course there's less product.) I seriously live in fear that they will discontinue my foundation, I have ultra fair skin and it's super sensitive. I can't find another one that matches me that my skin tolerates. I don't know what I will do if that happens.

Those colourpop palettes look EXACTLY like Kylie Jenner’s Blue Honey and Burgundy palettes. Like exactly. They even changed their packaging to mimic them.

Fucking Bobbi Brown. The supposed value of that palette is probably based on the weight vs. the price of their single eyeshadows (and the price just went up again). Their singles are almost worth that price, but I am suspicious of LE palettes. In checking this info on their site, I just discovered they have discontinued my favorite shade of lipstick. FUCKHEADS!
