You guys had me dying with the whole brunet thing 😂 it’s like “tell me you don’t speak French without telling me you don’t speak French” I was crying over here in 🇨🇦 (where we pretty much all speak a bit of french as a second language) a lot of words we use in English are derived from french words which very confusingly usually have a masculine and feminine version. Love you ladies. I had a good laugh. And yes…. no E at the end of blond for a man either. Also a french word so the whole masculine/feminine applies.

The Burnet by melt also seems rushed. The first 2 shades are to simular and serve the same purpose and the rest are uninspiring too. If this really is based on whisky i would expect richer colors

The Temptalia x Sidney Grace palettes are confusing and redundant. One palette for each light and dark is enough.

Do Beauty News have no viewers that are speakers of Slavic languages?!? This whole "some languages are gendered" debate is focused only on Neolatin and Germanic languages, but Slavic languages give you not only 3 genders for nouns and adjectives but also, for the low, low price of losing your sanity if you're a foreign speaker, we've got noun cases, a lovely little nod to Latin. A total delight. Ps. I thought only men can mansplain, but apparently we've come up with a gender-neutral concept of language-splaining. 🤔

I am so impressed with the updated Lunar Beauty palette, I had no interest in the brand or that palette until this one! This would be a great travel palette, so much choice, and I love that they removed the brush

Also in Polish Brunet means brown hair male, the female is Brunetka.
In my language it is normal, everyone is saying it like that 😃
Fun fact: only a few languages have no gender words. In other languages everything have a gender, type of something like hair color is always inflected by gender 😃

FWIW, brunette is a French word and they gender all of their adjectives…
