   Just now watching this in May. I bought the Wet N Wild Crystal Collection highlighter which is almost cream to powder. It seems like a total dupe for Fenty Diamond Powder and it only cost me 4.99. I love it 🥰

   As far as no one trying to be deceptive or outright lie to their subscribers and followers…some full on obvious BULLSHIT, outright lies have been told in the name of Morphe codes and I don't see that slowing down anytime soon. Jaclyn just tried it, yet again, with the new Morphe bronzer in the shade oompa loompa. Trying to say it's an EXACT dupe for the Marc Jacobs Tantastic bronzer everyone loves. Bull f*cking shit! That 6 figure check must've been shy this month.*

   Fenty never interested me primarily because I have dry skin and matte foundations don't work for me, and the fair cool shades are garbage (170 is too dark and 110 is too light). But also the company's treatment towards y'all is completely uncalled for and makes me question their other ethics.

    The way I see how truthful a Youtuber is takes into consideration how upfront they are with sponsorships. I had to unsubscribe from Tati after she didn't reveal a video was sponsored until like six minutes in! It was the final straw for me with her unfortunately. I always enjoyed her reviews.

    Keep in mind that make-up channels enjoy getting PR cos they get it ahead of launch, so their review helps them generate more views than if they made the video after launch. This then causes that tug of war where some channels will downplay faults to stay on the PR list since it does actually help pay the bills.

    I've been watching this tag and I really appreciate your answer to the question about other youtubers (who you do & don't trust). This tag would be so much better without that question! We don't need to be bashing each other, we don't need to be stroking egos, American politics doesn't like when we copy their content. LOL! But the 'beauty community' has gotten kinda mean-girl-ish, and not only am I not mean, I'm not a girl. I realize that makes me the exception among the youtube audience, but I'm also exceptional when it comes to using affiliate links, and obviously commenting, since I am, again, #TwoCommentTheresa!

    It took me a couple days to have the time to sit down & watch this, I gotta say, your comments about rage watching are smack on the money. I can't stand James Charles, so I don't watch his content, I hate P.R. unboxings, so I don't watch them, even when creators I like do them, I skip that video & move on with my life. I love your honesty & no fucks given attitudes towards brands. It makes me proud to support your content & you as creators.

    The last question reminds me how in every Tati video in the top 20 comments someone is talking about how she doesn’t allow captions in her videos and I see her side in not wanting someone to go in and write hurtful things in the captions and I understand people who have hearing issues being frustrated in not being able to watch her videos but at the end of the day she’s been told this for over a year and doesn’t want to add any form of captions and yet every single upload it’s there in the comments

    I trust most YTers but I feel like my preferences are opposite of everyone! Tons of my favorite things are never talked about or hated on and sooo many things I've tried based on recommendations I ended up hating. I just watch for entertainment at this point lol

    Thank you for getting everyone's head out of their catty asses (me included). Watching videos from the community for so long, the "cancelled" culture became part of the norm. But it being the norm doesn't mean it should stay this way. Good wake up call ladies !

    The problem with the youtube community is that it often assumes a parareligious dimension. Centuries ago, people liked to burn dissidents at the stake. Today, it's hate comments. That's progress, isn't it? The problem with "family" (Beauty News FAMILY) is that a family often consists of related individuals who don't have much more in common than their accidental blood relationship. Consequence: ongoing quarrels. But if you care enough for EACH OTHER, you will keep on trying to solve the problems. Criticism, even if it's "negative" criticism, usually bears the chance to grow and develop. As I see it, it's not either "You don't like my videos, so f off" or: "You like all I'm doing, so welcome." But anyway, keep up your content!
