I used to cut Ollie’s hair years ago at a barbershop in Torquay and Paignton called fresh cutz. Ollie was at Exeter at the time and we discussed the possibilities of championship football being a amazing achievement for him. To think he is now in the premier league scoring hat tricks against Brighton and Liverpool, I’m so glad to see him achieving his dream you couldn’t meet a nicer guy if your tried.

In my Gillingham FM save Brighton have Ollie Watkins as their rotational striker in the season of 2025/26. He signed 2 seasons ago for £44m and in 48 appearances scored just 8 times.

Villa defending was atrocious on that goal let in. Brighton looked like a new promoted side today, total miss match to there previous performances. This shows, consistency is a very hard art, at the elite level, villa walk on. Watkins sharp as a dart, his reading of game and runs, finishes, best in country
