   I was in Israel for the first time in 1983 and several times ever since.

   In this 40 years I heard over and over again that people are leaving.
   Truth is: some are leaving some are coming back. Overall Israel advanced and developped like no other country I know.

   The members of the American Anthropological Association have endorsed a resolution to boycott Israeli academic institutions.

   An all-member referendum took place from June 15 to July 14, and the results were announced today.

   Thirty-seven percent of eligible members voted. Of them, 2,016 voted for the resolution (71 percent) and 835 people voted against it (29 percent).

   “By means of these actions, AAA will contribute to raising critical awareness of the dynamics of peace and conflict in the region, draw attention to the disproportionate suffering of the Palestinian people as a result of the occupation and what can be done about it, and expand the space for dialogue on these sensitive and important human rights and academic freedom issues.

   This is a lie. The Israeli government is doing this to protect Israel's national security from it's enemies. Many of those Israelis who are trying to flee from Israel or migrate to other countries are all Arab Muslims and Palistian Muslims. Real Jews are not, they support their government moves.

    Israelis, you seem to forget your past very easily!! Have you forgotten your Holocaust in Europe and Russia ? What you are demonstrating about is not important as the existence of the statehood.More over, no state in the whole world has judicial power above the executive power, not even in USA or in Europe. Democracy doesn't mean judiciary must wield more power than the parliament and executives.

    Some facts need to be pointed out to Ms Francis concerning the Lebanese Israeli conflict.
    1 In all previous military encounters between Israel and Hezbollah, it has always been Hezbollah who has started them and when Israel responds then begs the UN and every country that Hezbollah thinks can have influence on Israel to have Israel come to a cease fire.
    2 Unfortunately ever Israeli knows that if Israel ever looses a war she and her people will be annihilated.
    3. Alas equally unfortunately every Israeli knows, the day any of Israel's enemies especially Hezbollah and Iran think they can win a war with Israel is the day the next war will start.
