Revenge incoming for you lot!. It aint gonna be pretty!. At home you aint got a chance. This stupid error could cost us the title. And football is a contact sport, give over, havertz didn't break his leg did he?

Just looking at it now at 2:12 you can see the ball went out so it shouldn't have stood btw it didn't look like a foul on gabriel though

i remember when VAR first was being talked about as a possibility, and some people were against it, because they felt that debating refereeing decisions with a friend in the pub later on/or the next day was part of the game and it's something they'd miss! little did they know how much more controversy it would go on to cause… i'm pro-VAR by the way and we should never go back, as it does get most obvious things right such as clear offsides that the referee has missed… and obviously outrageous things like suarez's biting, he would have received reds instead of being allowed to stay on the pitch like he did because the referee didn't know what he had done… and rare stuff like mistaken identity! but man, it's so inconsistent and it does seem to cause a lot of trouble because of the way it is used! that is why it was supposed to be just for CLEAR and OBVIOUS errors… if something is debatable then they should always stick with the referee's decision!

Havertz challenge is a yellow, Newcastle fans should stop being shameless, he followed through with his left leg and never touched him with his studs. But that Bruno challenge, i was flabbergasted that wasn’t a sending off and suspension, that was incredibly dangerous play this isn’t Ufc this is football and there is no place for that

That Havertz tackle on Longstaff is definitely not worth a Red
    Newcastle are just overexaggerating

    February 15, 2024 at 12:17 am

Neutral here – Havertz tackle definitely only a yellow, his foot that made contact was not raised or studs showing.
Bruno should have been a red, he basically punched him in the head.
It’s too difficult to tell if the ball was out of play or not due to the whole ‘sphere of the ball’ potentially meaning it was still in.
I can’t see any offside at all.
To me it was not a foul on Gabriel, it was just two players going for a ball where they’ll always have hands on each other…it’s a contact sport remember.

Honestly Var is a shambles, now instead of things being mistakes it just looks like clear rigging💀

  19. @Starlight-iw9gx

    February 15, 2024 at 12:17 am

It's not the VAR that's the issue, it's the referee's decisions that's the problem.

  20. @macbecksful

    February 15, 2024 at 12:17 am

If you have to review for that long it is proof that the Referee and the Var officials themselves don't actually know. Ultimately it all comes down to interpretation, so why go through a lifetime of analysis to make a decision. In this case , by all the available evidence the ball was out of play and that there was contact foul on the defender……yet they still managed to ignore all the available evidence…..after looking for a lifetime….likewise the elbow in the head. What VAR expert decided that wasn't worthy of any kind of card? These are the same people who brought us the 'Offside' Liverpool goal v Newcastle. How can you trust these peoples judgement ? Var and its operative are no closer to fair play than they ever were.

    February 15, 2024 at 12:17 am

The ball was out in the first place, it looked out by eye which is what the referee go's by, no need to check VAR. Even if it was in, Gordon was offside as plain as day.

  22. @dps3346

    February 15, 2024 at 12:17 am

Defo wasn't out..defo wasnt offside.. foul on Gabriel would be soft. Both should have been reds.

Dunno but the Havertz lunge is more of a textbook red to me than the elbow. Both definite reds though

  25. @BigAsianMan1999

    February 15, 2024 at 12:17 am

the only valid point for arsenal fans is the foul on gabriel by joelinton but it does look like he is diving to head it

I hope that people are not saying Havert foul is red carded challenge, when nothing suggests such things. He didn’t have his stud high, you can see he went in while the ball was at his opponent’s legs too. That was a yellow card foul all day long.
Now I can see why Arsenal fans cry so much about that goal as so many things were wrong and the way mass media is looking to scrap and defend the referee is wrong. Premier League is the best league and yet the referee are doing so many mistakes each season against all teams, but they still defend them. Referees on other top leagues are way better and their VAR works much better then in Premier League because of the quality of people that use them.

Gumaraes shouldve been sent off and that goal shouldnt of been allowed var is just corrupt and i'm sure gary neville is getting told what to say and not say so biased that commentary

  40. @warrenjenga8335

    February 15, 2024 at 12:17 am

How is that not offside? 😂 that’s blatant. Offside rule states that if the attacking player is behind the goalkeeper then there has to be 2 defenders behind him in order for the attacker to be onside. For me the offside was the most blatant thing in there.

Absolutely shocking the refs and VAR so far this season that bruno elbow is a red card everyday of the week and surely Gordon is behind the keeper after it comes off Joe so that is offside no?

Arsenal did not create anything in front of the goal. I thought I would never say it "Spurs have better team than Arsenal". Newcastle – great spirit, a fantastic manager.

Not only was the Newcastle player offside, it was a foul. Not only was the ball completely out they played on and VAR STILL allowed it. They checked the elbows, pushes and shirt grabbing and still allowed it. An absolute farce. I don’t mind losing but to lose in that manner is ridiculous. VAR should go and a complete overhaul of training for the FA qualified refs needs to be set in place. It’s not just Arsenal who have been stuffed here. Many games this season have been a joke due to the refs and VAR.
