Sorry if we offended people regarding the KKW concealer discussion. When we filmed this there we no swatches and we found the initial reaction to the product shots very premature. If people of colour see the swatches and don't believe that it would suit them, then the range definitely is not sufficient and should be increased to be more inclusive. xo

whyyy does glamglow a brand supposedly focused on skincare continue to pump out glitterbomb masks. I know people think it's fun but that's crucial space in a mask wasted that they could be putting ingredients that would actually help your skin. That's the kind of thing that can be expected from cheapo products not something with their price tag. But I guess as long as there's a market… =

Re: tarte “sunscreen” powder… sigh. I’m tired of seeing these things (sephora carries versions of this from other brands). I know people want a way to reapply their sunscreen but I can only imagine how much of that powder you’d actually have to use to get the full spf. Also tired of seeing: 1oz of sunscreen that costs $30-50 dollars when if you use spf in the recommended amounts you would go through that in less than two weeks. Also tired of seeing: mineral spfs that say spf 50 when they have only 4% zinc oxide (not sure how our sunscreen regulations work to allow this, but it seems pretty bogus when others are labeled spf 30 and contain 18-20% zinc oxide).
I live in the northeast of the continental US, where the sun isn’t as strong, and I just had a skin cancer removed from my cheekbone 5 days ago. I have always worn sunscreen to an extent, but was never good about reapplying unless I was at the beach. Got serious about sunscreen 2 years ago, but it was too late to prevent cancer for me. I wish folks in the US were better educated about sun protection and that companies didn’t sell (virtually) ineffective shit by taking advantage of their ignorance.
