   I rarely buy quick picks on Lotto, Mega, and the state Lotto. I pick my own numbers and so far not much luck. the most money I ever won or got back for that matter was $10.00. I thought about buying 5 quick picks and sticking with those same set of numbers until one of them hits the jackpot. I might play those numbers the rest of my life.

    FACT IS. there are some simple things of common sense that CAN make it easier to get hit by lighting so to speak.. like climb up to the top of a building and hold up a lighting rod .. AND the same thing goes for the lottery.. like #1 the same numbers NEVER comes up twice in a row… so NEVER chose the numbers that just hit the last time.. #2 Find the numbers that hit the most you can increase your chances by 50% just by that ALONE (if you do it right) # 3 PRAY, if God is mad at you you will NEVER win.. #5 Get some one to help you, things always work BETTER when two HONEST people work together on how to do things.. #6 Never pick numbers like 3 4 5 6 7 8 in a row Find the usual average of how many numbers are spaced apart and work that into your strategy. #7.. Never buy more than $10. worth of tickets at a time, IF YOU CAN'T win with $10. you have the wrong Strategy..

    Richard Lustig the man talking died of a stroke in 2013. Its like they say you can't take the money with you. Once you go that's it the party's over , so plan who will deserve your winnings if you pass away. Goodluck to all .

    I learned nothing of real value about how to pick my numbers so they have the greatest probability of being drawn. Everyone KNOWS buying more tickets increases one's chance of winning, but he advocates NOT used Quick Picks and using your own numbers. Well, fine, but how do I pick those numbers?

    His book is a joke. His book claims you decrease your odds when you play the same number. That's totally false. The drawing is a fresh draw every time it's drawn.

    I can tell you all right now what that flimsy little book says. In it he says choose a set of numbers that hasn’t been used in the history of the lottery, keep on buying a lottery ticket every week using the same numbers and never change your numbers. He said eventually you’re going to win. There I just saved you all from buying his flimsy little 30 page book for $36. I was really disappointed that I paid $36 for a little book with very little substance in it. The same advice he gives in the book is the same advice he gives in these videos on Youtube.

    Your odds are not "at their worst" by picking a randomly generated number. The odds of hitting YOUR number (whatever it may be, random or not) are always dependant on total number of tickets sold. Think about a dice roll. If I bet it will land 5, I have a 1/6 chance. The next roll, if I choose 5 again, it's still one in six. But what if I bet on 3 next time, still 1/6 chance!!! Your chance of winning the lottery is the number of tickets you have over the number of tickets out there. No matter what number you pick. The term "statistically due" does not apply here. The chance of your number is not in any way dependant on how many times your number has lost in the past. If you still don't understand, start flipping a coin and recording the results based on your predicted outcome. First try always betting heads. You will be at an approximate 50% win rate. Now try betting randomly, picking heads or tails Willy nilly, with no thought. After a few goes you will see it's still 50% win.
