UK’s Home Secretary James Cleverly has apologized for joking about spiking his wife’s drink with a date rape drug in comments made at a Downing Street reception. The remarks came just hours after the home office announced plans to crack down on spiking.

    He thinks it is funny to perpetually crack sick jokes, then apologise and it is alright. He occupies what once was one of the most respected posts in government and brings it right down to the gutter. If Sunak had any guts he would be sacked immediately but it appears this behaviour is considered alright by the Tories – just disgusting.
