I am a member of the Baby Boomer Generation. I also served in the Army for thirty years. My approach towards life was and continues to be substantially different then the generation of which I was a part. For the record a sizable minority of the generation held and still holds this approach to life, the one I hold, the one necessary for there to continue to be a nation of: Liberty, Rule of Law (Republicanism) , Democracy, Justice and Opportunity for all, etc..
The Baby Boomer Generation was the first Generation in America wherein the majority percentage of a generation was and continues to lead a self-centered life. In other words the idea of being primarily civic-minded, possessing civic-piety, civic-virtue became a minority percentage view point. Hence, with the Baby Boomer Generation America began to decay, to become moribund, to deconstruct, and the degree and speed of this movement has only increased with subsequent generations.
