We (spurs) dont have enough depth, so we’ll inevitably fall off, it’ll be arsenal or liverpool. 2/3 more windows and we might be able to compete but we’ll see

  2. @jeffrey6171

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

LiVARpool will be lucky to challenge for 6th. Top 4 is pie in the sky for them.

  3. @Bomberman60001

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

Just me that thinks arsenal would be lucky to finish above liveepool. Lets be real neither jesus or nketiah who start for arsenal would get on liverpools bench. The only midfielder id take is rice and the only defender is saliba. The other 9 players all liverpool.

Moving to the bench arsenal have nowhere near as much quality or quantity in depth as liverpool. Some of their bench players i look at and think nah no chance

Liverpool will win the title.spurs will do very well.

Gary please discuss: If the EPL can look at a player who physically assaults another player without the officials seeing it on the day and can call the players actions into question and ban them for a number of games. Why can this not be done with wrong refeeree and VAR decisions, why doesn't Kovacic retrospectively get a red card today and the subsequent ban, why doesn't a goal that is judged to be offiside but was on side actually get reinstated as a goal later that day or the following day. If this a was a Sunday league game in which our kids are playing and all that is at stake is our pride, I have no problem with referee mistakes on the day but dealing with an international sport that during tranfer windows trades in the billions, a "sorry mate, may bad" from EPL referees is unnacceptable and far too expensive a mistake to allow.

Don't look down at Spurs because for long run football what need most is a good coach that can always motivate his players to fight hard and fortune will come, like the match vs LIV. One advantage for Spurs is htat they don't have to play UEFA (also out the Carabao cup) which means they can concentrate on the league matches.

  7. @ih8mcfly

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

Liverpool can’t even beat Brighton , so they can’t win it.

  8. @MrGaryGlimmer

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

PGMOL won't let anyone challenge. Chalk off legit goals, don't send players off, all City bias.

As a Spurs fan, I’m enjoying our unexpected success but we won’t challenge. We’re thin on depth with high intensity and I think that will show with injuries/fatigue. I just hope Arsenal and Liverpool keep pace.

I'm Believe in Arsenal, great team and good work your Coach. Liverpool need more players to team.

Liverpool have an excellent forward line. If we don't sign a cdm and a cb in Jan, then we have no chance though.

Man United can challenge the relegation zone.

  20. @DFarrell-so7oi

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

As long as we don’t get robbed again id say Liverpool, drawing against Brighton is kinda worrying tho we should be winning that and very well could’ve, 2 very poor goals to concede.

  21. @daniellee129

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

As a spurs fan, if we can stay top until the January transfer window, that's when I'd seriously rate our chances for the title

  22. @russellbartram2472

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

As spurs fan i take top 4 under ange in hes first season

  23. @weeforbes

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

Nobody throwing man utd in the hat? 😂

Ten hag has had to deal with sancho and Antony situations, hasn't been able to play a single starting 11 with at least 8 of his best players (every game has had 4+ back up players)

Accoring to the narrative, spurs and arsenal have been incredible this season whilst utd have been embarrassing yet the gap between them is 8pts

Incredible vs horrendous and there's only an 8pt gap, if spurs and arsenal stop picking up lucky stoppage time wins every week and utd actually get a consistent starting 11 (more clean sheets than any other club last year) that gap could close 😭

  24. @weeforbes

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

What's with this myth that tottenham have been great?

96 mins on the clock they were 0-1 down at home to a rancid sheff utd team and got massively lucky to score 2 goals and win (1st time they've scored twice in stoppage time in the PL)

Picked up 3pts when minutes away from 0

Needed a lucky deflected goal to beat 9 man Liverpool with the last kick of the game after looking completely clueless for 25 mins with a 2 man advantage

Picked up 3pts when a kick away from getting 1pt

Should of been 3-4 goals down by halftime against man utd but their forwards are embarrassing and missed 3 sitters then scored 2 massively lucky deflected goals and won 2-0

Spurs have been bang average and their squad depth hasn't got a prayer of winning the league. They have nothing on the bench and an injury to son or maddison and they are nothing

That defence is a disaster waiting to happen. Lucky their keeper is pulling off saves left right and centre (3rd most saves in the league)

Take away some of that stopped time luck and theyd have the same points as man utd who have been horrendous all season

  25. @saltytree729

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

Speaking like city’s even going to be there. Without gundalang or Rodri they look shocking boys said for a while it’s those two who allow them to tick

  26. @joestar9639

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

    spurs over liverpool

Arsenal and Liverpool will challenge city. And Tottenham as well

  29. @EH_1995

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

As a Liverpool fan, I think his assessment on us is fair, but I still think we’re on Arsenal’s level. I haven’t seen anything from them this season or in the games against us last year (where they only won because of poor red decisions) to say they are that much better than us.

  30. @lucasb7657

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

people sleeping on chelsea all im gonna say

  31. @Anon97123

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

Spurs won't be able to breakdown lowblocks consistently yet. They'll have a good season but can't see them winning the title unless every rival suddenly drops off. It's between City, Arsenal and Liverpool. As always, City still favourites.

  32. @Ibby0809

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

Even as a spurs fan we are no where near a title race but I think we will get too 4 either arsenal or city win it I don’t see Liverpool winning it this year maybe next season

  33. @xElNinoo

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

Liverpool are top quality but they simply don't have the defence from 2018-20. Van Dijk isn't the same. Although it remains to be seen if Man City can reach 95+ points as they have done previously. If they get less than 90, I think the gate is open for Arsenal or Liverpool. Tottenham shouldn't last the course, 10 man Liverpool were superior but we'll see.

  34. @scroobiuspip7705

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

    Liverpool will challenge

  35. @CEO786

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

I think Man Utd will be the biggest challengers ❤

  36. @hoodinisharif1860

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

I remember in the beginning of the season everyone was saying we would be 7 or 8 this season lmaoooo

  37. @juniorrr3209

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

God everyone in the league is so lucky Chelsea have half a squad injured. We should be in this conversation it’s still very early. IF Chelsea beat Arsenal after international break what then??

  38. @kelvinpell4571

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

    Liverpool will.

    The others will fade.

    City will STILL win it.

  39. @suesmith3744

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

As a Spurs fan we are not winning the title for many reasons , lack of strength in depth for one . However I would snatch your hand off for 5th place . Just thought I’d post this to stop all the pissy comments about how we’ve no chance and how deluded we all are for thinking we can win it 😉

  40. @Ietmeth1nk

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

Spurs will be strugglin to keep them refs' pockets filled. They gotta find a way to keep that up, otherwise it'll be a hard top4 for em.

  41. @razorman1977

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

As a Liverpool fan I think he's got it spot on. Spurs haven't got the depth to go all season and to be fair have had a bit of fortune (not just the Liverpool game). Liverpool have no decent defensive midfielder that can protect the back four, macca is NOT a defensive midfielder and why he has been used as one is beyond me. Liverpool will finish 3rd or 4th and I reckon spurs will finish in and around that position too. Arsenal will run city close but it has to be city's title. I just don't think Arsenal are quite there yet but they are not far off. Only my opinion, we'll have to see.

  42. @user-yk2gs7xc7c

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

It's going to be hard for all 3. They have to beat man city but they also need to overcome the refs. More than 40% of all EPL officials were born in or currently reside in the greater Manchester area. That's why rivals of the Manchester clubs on average get poor decisions.

  43. @RobertLopez-yf8zi

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

We're what…1/5 of the way through the season? 2.5 pts/game, Spurs and Arsenal on a 95 point pace. That's a challenging pace to maintain.

  44. @user-ke4je2rw7c

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

We wanna see them run more closer even city must win it i wanna see it go till last game of the season we got a chance

  45. @aldrinroy6255

    February 18, 2024 at 7:46 am

Only Liverpool will give them a run, but i still think city will win it lmao
