Lolita is widely considered as one of THE greatest novels of the 20th century. Who doesn't know this novel?? What, did those people not go to school? If you are one of those people who had to "look it up", please do so. And then please consider spending your money on a book or two before you buy another eyeshadow palette. Good, this makes my brain hurt. Are people not educated at all anymore? That said, I do think it is a stupid name for a palette, I do think that her explanation is even more stupid, because it shows that she (KatvD) is one of those people without any education. Well, we knew that she was stupid when she blathered out her "opinions" on vaccinations. Nobody needs this and I am glad to hear that you are not supporting her.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥If the love signs pallette by bh is anywhere near as good as the original zodiac, then I'm sold. That's one of my favorite pallette and I love the colors in the love signs.
The colourpop lip thing happens to me with everything. If it's in rainbow order I fucking want it.
The Lolita pallette has gorgeous colors but I'm not a fan of kvd, and the Lolita line.
Lolita culture (the costumes and such) are fine, if you look up the history behind it.
Her inspiration seems to not be from that from what I've read.
The melt smoke pallette is gorgeous and I want it, but I would have loved more greens.
I think the ad is cringe, I don't care much about pot, I don't think it should be illegal (it should be like booze) I like how critical you are cause it helps me decide what's best to purchase. You often make points that either make me want to buy a pallete, or make me realize I don't need something.
I want the gemini pallete now.
The Laura Lee collection looks nice and I like the little touches to it, like looking like a gift so you don't have to wrap it, but im not a fan of hers so I don't really want it.
The loreal lip products look awesome and I'm bummed they aren't CF cause I want a few if the see colors.
The mur desk pallette reminds me of an eyeshadow palette I had when I was a kid. My mom gave it to me, I was like 10. Wish I could think of the brand. You guys should destroy it

I like the colors of the smoke sessions palette but I don’t like the inspo even though I smoke. I don’t need those things combined thank you. I wouldn’t want one that had beer all over it either

I mean I am never going to support KVD and I don't really agree with most of the things she does and most of her shade names. I don't understand why people are upset over the name Lolita if it is named after the novel. It's an amazing work of literature and a classic. Tes the topic is heavy and fucked up but, she didn't name the shade after the themes in the book, it's named after the actual novel. (this is all hypothetical since we don't even know if it's actually after the novel) It's like naming a shade Gatsby, Wuthering Heights, Mockingbird. Most of these classic novels have heavy, sensitive, uncomfortable or complex topics/concepts. But that's why they're great novels in the way they approach these topics with great literary skill. God people are frustrating. Focus on her other problematic shade names.

I think that melt could have gotten away with the marijuana inspiration if they marketed it as a "hemp inspired collection," instead of a "weed inspired collection." I work at a health food store and I see that a lot of our hippie products have hemp in them.
