We did bounce back, just a bit rubbish at the moment. As gutting and horrible this felt I think we needed it. Our style of play wasn't working. We got new manager, pretty much new team, stormed the championship and got promoted. (Curretly 2nd bottom). What a crazy year, Newcastle smashing it at moment and glad to see Pope is still making headlines.

Looking back at my words, 12 months on and what's happened:
1. In the whole history of Turf Moor, Newcastle have never once before, been to the Turf and had 79% possession.
2. Pace is American so the story comes first. i.e. Let's have a relegation disaster so the club can be born again with new owners, US and WE DID IT, THE YANKS.
3. Kompany happy to call their bluff and hedge your bets as to who are the police and who are the thieves on the pitch and off it.
4. USA is a kiddies country, it's a Lord of the Flies child nation made with no adult supervision and that's why they're all big babies and they always will be.

On that day and when the final whistle went to confirm our relegation i was actually relieved because had we stayed up we would probably have kept Sean Dyche and we would have faced exactly the same all over again this season instead of having VK as out manager who is serving up this beautiful flowing football that we have now from Burnley and we are enjoying one of the greatest seasons in our entire history.
Relegation and saying goodbye to Sean Dyche was a huge blessing in my humble opinion.

As a Leeds fan I am very happy and TYSM NEWCASTLE YOU HELPED US BIG TIME so I am very happy to see burnley go like really happy I don't like burnley at all there is a reason but I'm not gonna say MARCHING ON TOGETHER and Newcastle thx you did amazing I respect you but when Leeds play you lot I'm not on your side

Out of the Burnley teams, this is the one I didn't want to go down, but I really enjoy watching Leeds, so I wanted Burnley to go down. All the best to Burnley, they have a very good squad, someone has to buy Cornet, he's been immense.
