   it's been a tough couple years for keane. united getting destroyed left right and centre, city becoming a better than than man united ever was, kevin de bruyne being a better midfielder than any midfielder united ever had, liverpool playing the ball around united like they are playing a sunday league

   Looking back on this now (Nov 23) I think the worse thing for United is that they didn't recognise and then achieve what their number 1 goal should've been. Liverpool were far off it all season so it wasnt a case of '3 points for the league or a game for the top 4'. Uniteds objective should've been to rub salt in the wounds. Liverpool were down in the dumps, their biggest rivals in town, kick them while their down, rub it in while you have the chance. United failed miserably. As a Liverpool supporter myself, this was a welcome highlight in an otherwise dreadful season.

    One thing I've always loved about Keane's punditry is that he may sound calm on the outside but inside he's absolutely raging and you can hear the subtle anger in his voice, his body language and eye contact.
