    Souness has never stopped learning and growing as a human. I sincerely admire this about him. He’s owned his mistakes, with the 80s OF bigotry nonsense (also signed the Catholic, Mo Johnston, which was huge), owned the interview with the S*n, spoke out about homophobia, sectarianism and recently swam the channel for DEBRA.

    We all make mistakes, but few of us own them like he has, publicly as well.

    Not a bad pundit either, but a very decent human being. Enjoy your retirement, Graeme.

    Hope I look like that when I’m picking up my pension 😂

    Anyone with half a brain would know he was sacked or that his contract wasn't renewed. He's such a control freak that his pride wouldn't allow it to be seen that way, so the verging on tears mutual consent parting speech contained a reference to "a big announcement on the 26th" or whatever date it was regarding his future. His way of saying he's still in control and might be going to a rival TV channel or taking his on-going career in a different direction.
