   If you do another one of these, please include sun damage. I’ve burnt in the past through (crap) sun screen-it was no joke, I had an open wound. Can I repair this damage? Also I’ve heard that retinol can speed up skin cancer, I know from my family that I’m prone to skin cancer, and I’m very fair/don’t tan at all. Can I use retinol? Are there more things I should avoid?

   Hey girls I hope you see this! I need some advice. I’m 27 and in the last year or so I’ve noticed my skin has changed quite a bit. I feel like it’s dry, but I still get the occasional blemish and pimple, especially close to my period. But my foundation, no matter the brand, is breaking up on my skin and looking patchy. I’ve also noticed fine lines on my forehead and under my eyes too. I want to go get a skin assessment, but I don’t want to get bombarded with products I don’t actually need like Darren did. Any advice? Thanks! 💖

   A question for the acne video: what (cruelty free) suncreams can you recommend for skin prone to acne/oiliness? Most facial suncreams seem to be so clogging for my pores and leave me feeling sticky, shiny and sensitive, which stops me wanting to use them even though I know in the long run they're good for me. Do I have to just accept that protection is more important than clear skin?

   Thank you for the information about vitamin C oxidising! I've just switched out my vit C serum dropper for a pump – it came with both options, so I didn't realise there was a difference.

   Loved this video! And especially the advice to remember the chest. I knew this already but have been forgetting it until recently, because I was always wearing a shirt that covered my chest. Now I do my routine in a bra, so I can easily include my chest in the routine.

    Okay so I am taking American sign language and I have to touch my face often for it. I have noticed that my chin has a lot of red angry acne. Is touching my face really bad and what can be done to help prevent the acne from forming? Also I know this is specific I'm sorry. Love you all. Y'all are amazing

    I would love to learn more about hormonal acne. I have hormonal acne and the only thing that works to keep my face clear is birth control pill. There is another way to be free of hormonal acne? I'm adult btw

    What is a safe way to whiten your skin ? Without using any acids if possible ? I have an uneven skin tone that I really don't like so I was hoping you could answer that.

    I have a question for Darren: I always used to have acne prone oily skin so I was mainly trying to keep my face matte but a recently I noticed that my skin became super dehydrated. It also became very very sensitive. I'm told I should keep my hands off the physical and especially chemical exfoliators but that does make my skin a bit rough which is very noticable when I apply makeup. Because I do have spots here and there, after they heal the area is a bit crusty but I feel like I can't exfoliate the dead skin cells off. Is there any way that I can exfoliate? My skin is sensitive, dehydrated, I get dry patches from spots and my skin easily becomes red.

    Girls and guys: Could you please do one of these video's on dehydrated skin when you have more oily/combo skin? Dehydration seems to be a big toppic when it comes to aging and dry skin but those products are often too heavy and greasy when you have oily skin. I think there are probably quite a few people who have dehydrated skin from all the "purifying", "deep cleansing", "no oil" "oily acne prone" skincare.

    I really want to know if I can use glycolic acid, vitamin C and retinol at the same time? I read that those three can't be combine because they cancel themselves… I need help I want the benefits of all of them 😀 I am greedy…Maybe a video about this topic can be helpful. What can we combine and what we cannot?

    Great video, thank you so much, I leaned so much, I think that I'm making a lot of mistakes writh my skin routines, maby you can take up the topic of getting in the 40+-50+ yers ackny and need to rethink skincare, is it the skincare that over time that doesn't fit my skin anymore, how to read my skin writh Wat it needs because I'm changing, and how to start a new skincare process up, change All pruduct ore one pruduct a week..?

    Brilliant video!! I love skincare! So a couple of questions if Darren can answer in the next one (hopefully): 1. Darren mentioned AHA is good for fine lines . Can I use AHA under the eye? Or just niacinamide (vitamin B)?
    2. I've tried Vitamin C serums twice before. One was 15% and one was 21.5% and both gave me irritation acne and texture/ bumpy skin. Can I just use niacinamide or azelaic acid (Skinoren cream) instead of Vitamin C or do I need to keep trying vitamin C but in a lower percentage or other than L-ascorbic acid to get the free radical protection?
    (I have 31 year old dehydrated, combo, acneic skin controlled but made dry by tretinoin use, fine lines under eye)

    I'm over the point when your skin start to age but i'm not seeing any issues yet. I wish you have said a little more about prevention. Because I feel like I don't need all these steps, but which are vital? I know, sunscreen. 🙂 But should I go with vitamin C or maybe with glycolic acid? What type of product would be the best? Or maybe I should incorporate all the steps, but how? From my side I can say that my skin got a huge boost twice 1) When I started to drink water in the recommended amount 2) When I quited smoking. I could see improvement after 3 weeks!

    Love these in depth videos because there is so much confusing and contradictory information about skincare/ingredients out there. I appreciate this so much! And particularly with the vitamin C stuff, I've got to do some digging into which product is actually going to work for me and what products just look/smell pretty.

    Question/s for next time: How do you treat acne on dry skin without further drying out the skin? Is it in the prep/the after care/should acne be treated completely outside of a morning or nightly skin care regimen?

    Out of the 20's & still don't have fine lines, it's in the water. I might be as dry as the desert I live in but I am certainly not dehydrated. Literally it's all the fecking water I drink. For every cup of coffee, I drink double that in water. Kill me if we survive after the apocalypse because I'm the water culprit. That & wearing long sleeves & pants/leggings under skirts all year round has probably helped in lieu of using sunscreen. Ya'll have peaked my interest with adding a glycolic to my skincare regimen though. Thank you for another informative chat!

    Is there anything he would advise for a reoccurring acne spot that comes in the exact same area every couple months and when it comes back it stays for weeks? For example I have clear skin but get one single spot on my chin every few months it's in the exact same spot every time and it lasts for a few weeks before going away. I also have a few friends who have similar clear skin but get 1 spot or 2 in one area reoccurring.

    Or anyone in the comments who had this issue and has found something that works please let me know!

    First of all, thank you for the great info! I was told skincare should start in your early 20s as ageing starts from there. I wish I gave a shit back then. But I'm telling myself it's not too late, I finally started at 35/36. I'm nearly 40 and my skin is a lot better now than my 20s (though my undereye area could do with a lot more work). So far BHAs, glycolic acids, oil cleansers, and Korean brands have been my lifesavers.
