Can we melt the Lush Slap Stick Solid Foundation? | THE MAKEUP BREAKUP
We finally got our hands on the Lush Slap Stick Solid Foundation, one of the main questions we saw was how this would hold up if it was exposed to heat for a long time so we did a little test to see what the results were and of course we weighed one and chopped it up for fun! I say your best bet with this is to melt all of the foundation into a container and use it from there, still can reuse the plastic container.

This might be a horrible makeup product, but Lush could totally go into the candy making business cuz that looks delicious lmao and with that much coconut oil they’re already halfway there.

Maybe for those that like the LUSH foundation should cover the whole foundation with wax and uncover what you need to wear, and a shape where it can stand instead of laying down and putting it in a box.

Are we not gonna acknowledge the packaging?? I know that Lush is going for environmentally friendly packaging, which is great! But it wasn't even sealed! Just loose in the box like that smooshed the light color, and moisture can easily make its way into the product with that style as well. I also noticed on the light color (possibly on the dark color too) that there was product on the part you're supposed to hold as if it's been touched or used by someone else previously. Idk, it all kinda just grossed me out from the start.

Why not just put the foundation in a smaller cardboard box with a wax lined interior? Skip the weird shape and the peelable wax base and that makes the foundation able to be more firm and not let it melt as easily
