   This was 1 year ago, if he gets the support and someone to help him make the right decisions in life then I guarantee he will be a great footballer and a real role model. His confidence has been destroyed and he needs help

   I enjoyed Carragher's honesty and good analysis here. Most of you English pundits, media and commentators keep coming up with plaudits and favourable stats to make average English players seem great.
   But the funny thing is that they would normally wait and disappoint you guys at international levels!
   However, do you guys ever learn? Nope!

   I wished people would get off Ali’s back. He is getting back to form, he is working hard and is commuted. Against City he run his self ragged. He could only play twenty minutes against Southampton but changed the game. He’s a top player.

    Well said by Graeme, hope Dele sees or saw this and he keeps progressing. He's been looking back to his old self again and focused. Stuff like this is why USA soccer is so far behind, we don't have legends like this being an example to younger players and giving advice from people who have done it at the highest level and to give perspective on how short a playing career can be. Top stuff

    Literally the same thing about Lingard.. difference is Lingard makes the runs off the ball and doesn't get the through pass

    Dele isn’t an attacking midfielder or a striker he is both he floats in and around both positions he is at his best when he is allowed that freedom to roam the pitch when he gets pinned down to a specific position he does not do as well. Facts.
