The ONLY WAY court packing AND ending the filibuster work is if the party in power absolutely guarantees they will never fall out of power. Either that or some 'parliament trick' where only their party can avoid having these policies turned back against them.
After using the very same filibuster over 300 times during trunp's administration, I'd think they might realize its importance. Unless they think they can never be the minority party under another trump, or any republican, they'd be stupid to sett his precident.
Same with packing the SCOTUS, the moment they are no longer in the majority, how can they prevent the court from expanding into the 20s or however much it will take to 'renormalize' the court to having more conservative majority.
Both of these changes would rip apart our government as every new administration will overhaul every policy and the judiciary to their own preference. It's really short sighted.

Its always easy being a socialist in a capitalist economy, until you really become a socialist economy and find out you were wrong. The level of ignorance of people who think socialism is viable never stops amazing me, they lived watching futuristic movies of good times where machines and technology give you everything in a pacifist world and never stop to think that that is not reality and wont be until we truly build said technology and actually stop all crime.
