I was always under the impression that the time indicator on the packaging is for how long you can use a product after it’s been opened? If that is correct, then it’s kind of a gray area on how long an unopened product on the shelf can still be usable.

You should do a video about testing expired makeup against it's non-expired counterpart. Meaning get two of the exact same product, just one expired and one not. See if it's really bad to use expired product, questionable or okay.

How is this allowed to be sold? Who decided there shouldn't be actual expiry- or manufactury dates on cosmetics anyway?! This stuff gets near your mouth and eyes!

I think itd be cool to do that with the makeup on the counter at stores! I'm tempted to go to tjmaxx and stores like that to see if I can find batch codes and check them right there- you might start getting old makeup from subscribers to check out! XD I work at a retail store and there are definitely products that I know are rarely purchased and therefore, I very rarely restock them. Itd be interesting to check out how old they are!
