   I don’t get the point Geoff makes about in the past to win the FA Cup you beat the best teams in the land. How many times has that actually happened? It’s a cup competition. You beat what’s in front of you and there will be many a winner that has not beaten the best teams in the land. This debate about Liverpool in the Cup is getting a bit boring now. Klopp put a team out to win the game. They won the game.

    Jurgen is the first team coach, and while he may be aware of the development of the youth players, Critchley is their coach. Surely even the presence of Klopp could distract from any preparations Critchley has made and disrupt the teams flow. If Klopp is trusting the youth team to play then he also needs to trust the coach to manage those players

    Me being a spurs fan I think it wssnt disrespectful if what klopp did he promised his first team break he kept it why do you have to make fuss over nothing he gave his assistant a chance to prove himself with his u23s squad they did the job praise the youth team they deserve it and credit to klopp hes done wonders with that squad

    You are constanly moaning and crying about young lads gettin their chance. Cup games are perfect for it….one guy does that..and suddenly it is a bad thing xD
    Why would ANYONE from big clubs care about this stupid cup?
    There are two cups? Why? unnecesary…lessering importance of the other one.
    Every league has ONE CUP …..FA needs to have two milking cows and adding unnecesary matches for the teams…not even starting about replays
    ALSO….why would anyone care about cup in time of insane money inflation in football. Players cost 50times more than it 12 years before, wages are 5 times bigger…prize money from Europe and League itself is double then it was back then..
    And FA cup offers prize money that are nearly the same to thouse back in 1997 xDDD WHO WOULD CARE ABOUT THIS from clubs perspective…
    Only United because for them and other championship clubs there is nothing else they could win other than laughable FA cup xD
    Raise prize money….cancel replays….
    and pick ONE CUP…not two…
    Then it will get sense of exquisity again

    Liverpool killing off the fa cup if anythink we are making it better by giving lower opposition the chance to get through to the next round also by giving our younger players the chance to gain valuable experience and giving our senior players a much needed rest so we can finish this season asap also klopp is keeping a promise to his players by giving them there break

    Give young home bred players the credit they deserve. When else will they get the chance to play in a competitive, first team game for Liverpool; it will only develop them as players! Every team has a squad and all Klopp has done is use his whole squad throughout the season… Don't forget, apart from the joke in the Carabao Cup they are UNBEATEN… YNWA

    It´s a joke to compare the FA Cup with the German DFB Cup, in Germnay we have a winterbreack of minimun 4 weeks and the leauge has just 18 Teams. If Bayern München would have the same amount of games like Liv than they would Play also with players of the second row. Fact is there was a winterbreack of the FA and next time schould the FA respect this free time. And by the way also a Coach Needs time to refresh his mind. Best regards from Germany

    Everyone is now kissing up to Liverpool and Klopp. In the last two seasons, Klopp has tried to lose these domestic up games. It's just that this season, Arsenal and Everton have pooped themselves. And for people to even say with a straight face that he's giving the young players a chance, it's embarrassing. He's sent them out expecting to lose. And if Klopp only cared about his team, and not sticking it to the FA, he'd have sent out a strong team in the first game. There would have been no replay.

    The smaller teams don’t play in your champions leagues so of course they gonna go for it and bigger teams won’t means more games more risk of injuries meaning your risking going out of bigger tournaments. So maybe leave the f.a cup for championship and less! Because your arguing that the bigger clubs don’t play there full squad well then you’d argue what’s the point in big clubs having younger kids and the fa cup would be dominated by the bigger clubs! And the smaller clubs wouldn’t get a look in. Get with the times games changed fa should be scrapped for the prem!

    As far as I see it, the FA cup is the perfect time and place for the young players to get
    experience. You play against weaker and stronger sides in a competition that is actually rewarded with silver ware even tho beeing totaly meaningless. So why not?
