I don't get* this Huda hate all of a sudden (not targeted at anyone specific). To clarify before I share my thoughts, I didn't like the idea of the remastered palette because even if she was just starting out and saw things she could improve, she could have left it alone or discontinued it and brought out* better palettes. People naturally won't like having some "lower quality" palette that they paid a lot of money for be replaced by something "remastered" (which seems to divide people on whether it is actually better).
But I thought the whole bakery thing just people wanting to drag her through the mud because they were pissed about the remastered palette anyway. "Baking" is the term used for applying these powders and so, like others have said too, it isn't much of a stretch to make a bakery-themed marketing concept. Seriously, guys. It's not the height of innovation.
As for the quality of her palettes, I only used her Desert Dusk (which seems to be the most popular one) and I absolutely love it. The colors are so flattering, especially on my olive skin tone, and they blend really well. The pearl finish shadows I like more than the glitters, but overall a really nice palette I find myself reaching out for more than the Anastasia palettes I have. I went travelling with it too and the color story made it easy for me to create quick and simple looks. For that palette alone, I'd be interested in the Nude palette and hopefully it performs just as nicely as the Desert Dusk one.

I really like the idea of the Makeup Forever palette, mainly nude but then a mix of colors, but I do agree the colour choices are a bit outdated

I just can't with Lush. They are over priced and so gimmicky. Why spend any money on something that will spoil quickly. They don't use good ingredients. Just overload things with fragrance but label it natural. Well ok but it's still fragrance and it shouldn't be on your skin. Nope not for me!
