   I was kind of excited to see Ulta got Storybook cosmetics, I hope that will give them the opportunity to create more things. I bought their eye brush set (only because I love eye brushes and the flowers!!!) so I can’t wait to see the quality when they arrive tomorrow. And atleast I can get points now too haha.

   From Tati's response video posted later- The "inclusive" comment she's now said is because it's vegan, soy free, gluten free, sugar free. I don't know about the other stuff but a lot of supplements aren't vegan, it's nice that she considered that I think. It probably wasn't clear at all what she was referring to when she said "all inclusive" before it was launched. She also mentioned she will be releasing other products going forward and will still hold to that ethos

   Stopped watching Tati long time ago after seeing her condescending attitude and she always seem to not use the lower cost brands only the massively expensive, so why would I listen to someone that doesn't use what they recommend. Always seemed to also have an odd attitude towards the lower end products even recommending them..

    Also I think if she would’ve released these vitamins two years ago she wouldn’t have been ripped to shreds, everyone and their mom’s dog would’ve bought them because no one was smart about consumerism, except now some people are being absolutely insane about this and ripping her to pieces for formulating a blend with healthy ingredients lol like why? It’s not just biotin she worked with a team to create a blend she’s proud of like everyone needs to chill. Just because she didn’t release makeup doesn’t mean people can beat her up😂

    Long late night ramble ahead (sorry), but just wanted to say thanks for doin' what you do. Your videos, here and on your personal channels, are always a lovely distraction from my personal responsibilities. 😉

    I noticed a lot of "Tati, WTF?!" comments, but I read a lot of horrendous comments, too. Slurs, name calling, calls for violence against her… Absolutely no release, however poorly it is done, makes those awful comments valid.

    People being angry with Tati for using ingredients that interact with their medication/medical condition has been reawakening my long time frustration with people (my younger self included) who do not look into how their medical condition or new pill will impact their life. It is your responsibility to do your own research and discuss possible interactions with a medical professional. There are so many things that can negatively interact with or impact common pills, like birth control or antidepressants, and it's easy to think that something isn't a problem because it's natural or available over the counter. Hell, I had to avoid grapefruit of all things while I took [a quite common type of] hormonal birth control!
    Many issues people are mentioning with the product itself are true for any multivitamin/supplement. Marketing for that industry has been effective over the years, and many people think they need to or "should" take them. Most people simply do not need them and are unlikely to experience any benefits. If you fall into that camp and decide to take them anyway, grand. Just don't get angry with the companies distributing them because you decided to spend your money on it.

    I have absolutely no interest in multivitamins or supplements that aren't recommended to me by my doctor, especially high end ones, but I don't think she's made a bad decision in anything apart from how it was presented to her followers. Luxury supplements are becoming increasingly popular (e.g. they can now be purchased at Sephora and Ulta, and companies like Care Of increasingly working their way into social media) and she isn't entering a market that is as saturated as makeup. The price is in line with what is already on the market for this type of thing, even if it's far more than I am willing to pay. If she came out with a makeup line, I'm positive people would make all sorts of comments whenever she gave a poor review because that product would be her brand's products' competitor. I personally don't give a hoot about her having hair extensions, etc. but I understand not everyone feels that way. I don't find her situation to be any different than hundreds of other influencers and advertisers marketing products they work with or create, and don't think she needs to "answer for" her Botox and fake eyelashes any more than other influencers/companies "need" to respond to the treatments and products they use. The Tati we see and interact with is a business, and has been for years. Youtube, and social media in general, is weird because it is so informal and familiar feeling and so easy to forget that what we are consuming or interacting with is the output of a multimillion dollar company. I think a good chunk of the outrage is due to people feeling hurt and like a friend is trying to take advantage of them, instead of perceiving it as the head of a business commencing a studied but somewhat daring attempt at diversification.

    Thank you for doing this video. I love how real everyone was during it. I definitely don’t agree with people being spiteful about the whole thing, but the ‘hate’ she’s getting is from people who have questions that should have been answered long before the launch. I don’t think that the ratio of disappointed/angry people to hateful people is equal enough that she needed to disable comments. For some reason, I just think that she doesn’t want to hear degreed doctors/physicians and people who have done real research tell her that the gimmicky product she is releasing won’t do anything for people.

    I think by "inclusivity" Tati meant that it was sugar free, gluten free, vegan, no parabens, no preservatives, soy free and cruelty free. So anyone who would have issues with products that contain all that i listed would be able to use her vitamins. 🤷🏻‍♀️ that's what I got out of what she said.

    *TL;DR don't expect vitamins to change your life and talk to your pharmacist about concerns when you're picking up your meds

    So, I have mixed feelings about Tati's vitamins. I live in the US, and I don't know about other countries' medical regulations but in the US vitamins/supplements are not very strictly regulated, since in the eyes of the FDA they are not medications and consumers should (in theory) not be relying on them to change their lives or cure diseases. An investigation into US drug stores found that 80% (yes, that's correct, 4 out of 5) of supplements don't contain what is advertised. On one hand, Tati sounds like she went to great lengths to ensure the quality of the ingredients in the vitamins, and the price tag attached would suggest to most people that they are good quality products. On the other hand, there isn't a strong regulatory force that would be able to do anything about the situation if the vitamins did not contain what is advertised, and neither consumers nor the Makeup Breakup would be able to do meaningful investigations into their contents.

    There is also the concern, as you ladies mentioned, that if the vitamins do contain what is advertised, those ingredients could interact with other medications that people might take. You ladies are absolutely right that people with concerns should ask a professional, but I would like to include a special note for your US-American viewers since accessing a doctor is often very expensive and normal people can't afford a special visit to the doctor to ask about vitamins (although this advice is still relevant to non-Americans). If you take medications already and you are concerned about interactions, talk to the pharmacist on duty. I have spoken to a pharmacist previously because I was concerned that a medication I take would interact with OTC pain meds–they're very sweet and often excited that someone wants to talk to them. This way, you will not have to pay anything beyond what you already pay for your medications. Hope this helps you all!

    ps: I love Beauty News!! I subscribed because of the Makeup Breakup, but I've stayed because of the News. I don't wear makeup all that often, but when I do wear makeup, I would rather it not suck, and I have learned a great deal from you beauty junkies. Much love ❤️ xx

    I really wasn’t giving much shit about what product she was going to come out with, until it came out. It’s how she came out with the product and really what her education/background is. Lets face it, I don’t believe she’s a certified or licensed nutritionist, dietician, or anything associated with anything in the medical community. It’s really disappointing that she essentially lied to her viewers with the claims made on her “PINK” vitamin capsules. She stated that or made reference to her “PINK”little magic pills will smooth wrinkles, decrease/minimize grey hair, help with nails, etc. However, she spends hundreds-thousands of dollars at Beauty Park Spa (I think that’s name of the location and owners: Nurse Jamie is a Registered Nurse and Dr. Daniel Yamini) located in Southern California where she has and will probably continue to get injections to help smooth her wrinkles, she colors her hair which of course takes care of any and all grey (for 6-8 weeks), she gets her nails done professionally which helps in growth of nails, etc. I honestly don’t give a shit for someone spending a shitload of money to get injections, color hair, getting nails done, etc. What I DO NOT like and absolutely do not respect for her, is how she went about stating claims of her PINK vitamins. I’m sure she has a cast of business people who was/is part of Halo Beauty, so why didn’t she begin marketing herself in the direction of her regimen of taking care of herself inside out or do something that wouldn’t have place her in such bad light. It seems that she was banking on her looks and name only. Granted in the United States, vitamins aren’t monitored like medicine/medication; however they do fall under a different federal rules. Regardless who sells the magic “PINK” vitamins, you should be truthful about the product and its claims. Sadly, Tati kinda comes off as shyster pertaining to her claims (I point the finger to her as she is the one who came out with the PINK magic vitamins) seem to be false as she gets injections, color, nails done, etc. as she has pointed this out on her channel several times. What’s also odd is that took off the remarks portion from the day her PINK vitamin release date. What was she thinking?? It’ll be interesting to see what’s going to happen.
