These folks think this government is helping them, yet as the current wage goes up, so does everything across the board of life. So congratulations on more taxes coming out of your check, & inflation, you won't see a brighter path in 2024.

  12. @deborahross9974

    February 22, 2024 at 6:15 am

Higher wages means higher prices on whatever is being sold. So instead of say $2.00 for a hamburger it will have to go up to $2.50. You wind up paying more for whatever which in turn takes more of your salary. It's a vicious cycle. And nobody wins. Also you will put lots of workers out of jobs and since you will be making more money you will be paying higher taxes. And that folks is why there's hardly anything left that's made in America because companies send out to foreign countries, like China because labor there is cheaper.

Aoc lost her barmaid job due to the minimum wage increase in NYC and her employer couldn't afford to pay her that wage. Aoc is pushing for higher minimum wage, not too smart for someone who didn't want Amazon to bring jobs to her district in NYC

It should be $20 right now in 2024.

  19. @dreadfuldonkey

    February 22, 2024 at 6:15 am

Inflating the the minimum wage = deflation in jobs. It’s common sense but Fox hasn’t any

  20. @MarthaAbbram

    February 22, 2024 at 6:15 am

The current economic system contributes to instability, inflation, and poverty. A new Creative Society economic model is required, one that can guarantee everyone's stability, security, and a high standard of living. But unfortunately, whenever the leaders we depend on appear on TV to tell us not to panic that everything is under control, that is actually the time to fear the most! Saddening…

  26. @jamesbrock8498
