I just love the upside down, communist-style logic here. Ask yourself: if say 60% of gunshots occur and are detected in minority neighborhoods, are they "targeting" minorities or is it because most of the gunshots happen in those neighborhoods? Remember, gunshots happen where they happen: the program doesn't shift them to another neighborhood.

Shot Spot does not bring in multimillion dollar surplus cash for corrupt pockets. Red light cameras and speed cameras are an endless cash grab and don't really prevent much but does affect the law abiding civil tax bearing citizens among us. Cash Rules trump everything right or wrong, helpful or not.

Uh…..the system doesn’t target anyone. It responds to the input of the sound of a gunshot. Perhaps if these same minorities did not, I dunno, fire a gun so frequently, they wouldn’t have to have the system.
