   It's been about 6 months and this aged very well. Ramsdale is a solid keeper who's shown his potential and Odegaard is doing his thing within the midfield.

    Which club is this that just goes and spends 100 Million on players? How ofetn do they do that? Those types of statement are meant to protect Arteta and make it look like Arsenal are risking bringing in unknown cheap players, when it's not. Partey is 45M, Odegaard 35M, Ramsdale 30M so don't make that argument. Arteta is buying players to sit on the bench while the supposedly bad players are in the Starting XI

    short answer……… no , we sold the best keeper in the league, number 1 for his country to play a poor leno who has never been great for 20 mil then sign a keeper that has a poor record and been relegated twice, odegaard whilst ok is a young player who cant be bothered to step up and fight for his place against 2 players facing retirement isnt really any better than smith rowe,

    then surround yourself with the players we have , laca is lazy and has no passion at all, auba has done nothing for a year granted he has had issues but at 32 now his best his behind him, pepe is an absolute joke when we should of gotten zaha instead, xhaka is a liability , elneny has somehow blagged a football career, and our back line is abysmal.

    We have known our issues for years and last year was a telling story and we saw what we needed to fix and we are nowhere near good enough to challenge for anything, yet we have spent the most in the league so far and not improved in the slightest

    Why don't you talk about Odegaard's injury with jumpers knee ? He's been struggling with that for more than a year. So he will never play every game for Arsenal, he needs a lot of rest between games. As a Norwegian we are fully aware of his condition, somehow the media fails to mention it.

    Comparing Odegaard’s goals/assists with other players is far too simplistic. Yes, he needs to (and will) improve his end product, but he’s almost more like the pre-assist player. The one that genuinely connects the DMs with the forwards.
    Look at his XT stats and things start to look a lot more positive. But then we don’t watch Sky for great football analysis, do we?!

    Odegaard is a good character. Creative, too. Arsenal ‘s best run of form came when he was in the squad last season. Makes them a better team. Young lad, bags of potential, good signing.

    Ramsdale is one of the most overrated keepers in the premiership, clearly he will only play back up but if this is the type of player Arsenal think will help take them back to the golden days they are seriously mistaken! I can see why Arsenal fans are raging with the board and management with so called "Great" signings like this. Odegaard on the other hand IS a good signing, a couple more and a bit more time and i think they'll do something in years to come.

    tell you what football has been dumbed down to a point where i no longer respect anyone on tv talking about it. Be it pundit , ex footballer or commentator. The fact that people completely ignore the FACT that Odergaard was given a chance to shine when he first came on loan and put up stats that had him on the bench than on the pitch boy the time he left. now tell me what he showed to deserve being bought by a team that have had the standard pf players that go an entire season undefeated? The player is far below the standard needed to perform in a league as intense as ours, it's that simple. Ozil suffered because of it those Chelsea strikers form germany have suffered the same fate. Scouting needs an overhaul in my opinion.

    Arsenal needs a truck load of luck irrespective of whoever they brought in for this new season . They simply do not have the fighting quality , no leadership and seems to be working under threat all the times except those who wins Arteta's trust . Too many U-turns in making decision and Xhaka most likely to be made captain again ?
