Maldives is an independent country. It can choose its friends. And it is important for a small nation to have many friends. The worst thing is to be dependent on one single friend. The risk of getting SIKKIMISED must be taken seriously.

Cow country, ever since independence from UK, continues to bully all its neighboring nations, acting like its former colonial master Great Britain..
Around 1974 India invaded n illegally occupied Sikhim, continues to Control Buhtan n Nepal, recently, violated UN resolution on self government of Kashmir n made it its state like Sikhim, illegally occupied China's South Tibet in 1986 n made it its State.ehich China will not recognize but will recover in the future..repeating 1962 war ..if all persuasion fails again…

China is doing the same. Buying of the corrupt politicians. They did in Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Maldives, Sri Lanka. Pearl of strings. Their military is powerful. Economy is stronger. They have a negative population growth. In future they will do immigration from other countries.

They are sponsoring the Houthis and Somali pirates. Why are they not attacking Chinese vessels. They are attacking US, Indian and Israeli ships.

They have agreements with Gandhi family and create an agenda. Divide and weaken India on caste, religious lines. They don’t want India to grow.

FunFact: Indian people makes up the majority of the toursist community that visit maldives. When Indian PM promoted Lakshadweep island, no Indian had a single clue that this will affect maldivian tourism industry. It only became visible to them when Maldivian officials started to react to the Lakshadweep tourism video in a racist way.

These idiots don't understand that China never try to develop any Muslim country; instead they have only destroyed many Muslim country's economy. Because, only in economically collapsed nations terrorism will grow more and turn against US, India and the western countries. That's why wherever there is scope for terrorism China comes to them and indirectly destroy their economy with debt trap projects and supplying weapons for terrorism 😂

Maldive new President Muizzu is going to invade Laksdweep islands with weapons, gun boats, frigates, light tanks, drones, missiles supplied by Chinese PLA. Then he will annex them to become Greater Maldives. The remaining hindus will be used as bargaining chips and later converted to islam to complete. The indian intelligence, babudom bureacrats and Generals with big handlebar mustaches are sleep or drinking whisky with sodas awaiting hefty retirement pensions to enjoy. The RAW has become bumbling idiots giving supari on Khalistanis to American undercover enforcement agents and then getting trapped by FBI, CIA and in Canada. We have become a desh of murakhs. There are lots of Indians, Chinese, Filipinos, Koreans, Japanese, Lebanese, Arabians etc. here in America. Lots of diversity. There are also different religions here in America, while china has none.

    February 25, 2024 at 5:16 am

China hd really think India as air.. first they put a naval base in sri lanka, strengthen Pakistan ehich is Indias enemy, now they were targeting Maldives.. what a bully.

  32. @shinofranz

    February 25, 2024 at 5:16 am

Maldives could enjoy the neutral treatment yet they ventured into a very tight spot.. India is much closer to them than China if things get worst between China and India..
India may think that Maldives is a variable in a war which could host Chinese vessel to attack Indias rear and what do India need to do?
    Simple, erase that variable..

One thing I say Maldives doesn't have the geographic location, military and allies to venture in this play..

Forget about india move on. India China gdp was the same in the 1990. Today China gdp is 6 times larger than that of India. Follow the money. The number of tourists visiting Maldives so far this year has reached 1.4 million, with China overtaking India as the second largest source market. Indians shelled out nearly $10 billion in overseas travel. Chinese tourists spent $255 billion (€235 billion) while overseas, according to business consultancy McKinsey & Company

As soon as you deal with China you already sold your country to them and infrastructure will start and digging every island in your country. Is a proven fact any country who made that deal with China ends up reclaiming their territories

1:16 Look at the image of Muizzu with the backdrop of of logo of UNCC, is it genius of cameraman or providence. The two branches of leaves decorating over head of Muizzu looks more like horns on head of Satan, declaring the Satan within? Funnily this exact small clip while shaking hands with Modiji has appeared on all news channels while discussing the worsening relationship news between India Maldives.

By this time not only Bharath but also other small island states must have wary of China’s venomous and dangerous, Cynical mindset. It’s always been as said prevention is better than cure. Unfortunately Maldives fell into the dragon’s trap. God save Maldives🙏

After what have happened in Canada n US, Maldives realise the Indian military personnel have deadly ulterior motives. They may be assassins to get rid of people they don't like 😮
So snaky India can not be trusted.
Better to do business with China through win-win cooperation on so many projects 😂😂
